5. Our psycho-spatial relationship is influenced by a variety of conscious and unconscious
inputs that are caused by colours and how we perceive them. It exists everywhere despite
its variances and presence. Ever ponder how it functions in architecture?

6. In addition to the structural components that make up an architectural item, the use of
colour on surfaces affects how the user interacts with the area. "A coloured feeling is
formed by the subtleties of light refracted or reflected by a substance," says Israel
Pedrosa. "Commonly, the name colour is ascribed to those shades that work as stimuli in
a chromatic sensation."

7. It is difficult and time-consuming to describe the connections between colours and the various
characteristics that control them, much alone the vast body of research already done on these
notions. Among many other aspects, colour can be linked to psychology, symbolism, and even
mysticism. It can also have varied connotations depending on the artistic, historical, or cultural
time. The purpose of this ppt is not to discuss colour theory or other critical subjects. It does,
however, attempt to consider how colour and architecture are related.
8. Color can visually simulate certain features of space or demonstrate a specific volume or
architectural detail. Additionally, it may offer a range of feelings or visual effects.

13. In children's projects, colors are used to motivate the child's psychological and sensory development. Among innumerable
examples, the following are standouts: the College in Alto de Pinheiros of the architects of Base Urbana + Pessoa
Arquitetos; the Prestwood Elementary School of De Rosee Sa; and the 'Els Colors' kindergarten by RCR Arquitectes.
14. In hospital projects or the field of health, colors are used as a complementary element for the rehabilitation of patients, such
as in the Esther Koplowitz Foundation for Patients with Cerebral Palsy, designed by Hans Abaton, and the Nemours
Children's Hospital, which is designed by Stanley Beaman & Sears.
15. In urban projects, colors are sometimes used to restore liveliness and to renovate deteriorated spaces, such as the intervention
of the Kampung Pelangi village, in Indonesia, and the Superkilen park of the Danish firm BIG, which uses a significant amount of
color to give a "spatial identity."
16. Color is an integral element in architecture; it is not
only important aesthetically, but it also has a great
psycho-sensory importance. Use it wisely in your
projects!
