2. It is used to check the proficiency of
English language.

3. Skills check in IELTS
• Writing
• Listening
• Speaking
• Reading

4. Writing task
• It has two parts
• One includes graph, pie chart, table, diagram
etc. Students need to solve it and write not
more than 150 words.

5. Writing task two
• This part is actually a essay writing. Need to
write not less then 250 words.

6. Reading
• This contains 40 questions.
• It includes three passage.
• Each passage has Mcqs,true false or assign a
title to different section within a passages. Its
like comprehension but it is not
comprehension.

7. Listening
• It has four sections. It contains 40 questions.
Students need to complete the listening within
30 minutes

8. Speaking
• Speaking test has three parts.
• First part is introduction. Examiner ask
questions about daily life, family, work/study,
interests etc.
• In second part examiner give a cue card to
candidate. This card contain some questions on
same topic. Candidate think about it and
present it at once.

9. • In third task, students give the answer of
the questions that is mostly resemble to
second part. Examiner ask the opinion of
candidate

10. Marking
• Students need to pass all the skills.
• Each skill contain 9 bands.
• Student get the total band from 9 if he pass all
the skills.
