3. STILYAGI
Appeared in the USSR in 1940. This organization did not
conform to society standards and protested against the
stereotypes of USSR society. More representatives were in
the capital of the country, in Moscow. Since 1960 this
subculture had disappeared.

They liked:
to show their fashionable clothes
to dance (rock’n roll, buggi-vuggi)
to go to the parties
to listen to cool music (jazz)
to have their special slang

People did not support this subculture.
They were designed to shock.
