RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
 21st June, to 1st July, 2013: Worked at Central Clinical Biochemical Laboratories.
We had been given clinical training on screening of blood and tissue sample obtained
from different type of patients at KEM Hospital Parel, Mumbai 400012
 7th
July, to 22nd
July, 2015: Worked at the RCBN Skin Bank of National Burns
Central, Airoli, Navi Mumbai. I was given demonstration and hands-on training on
skin banking methods (cadaveric skin processing and preservation techniques.) and
also conducted survey for the awareness of skin donation.
 January, 2016-May, 2016: Successfully concluded my master project entitled as
“Anti-inflammatory effects of Lawsonia inermis targeting biosynthetic pathways”.
The project work involved standardization of PLA2 assay and total phenolic and
flavonoids assay of Lawsonia inermis, which was done under the supervision of Prof.
P. Reddanna, Department of Animal Biology, University of Hyderabad.
 July, 2016- Current: Working in a project entitled “Molecular characterization of
cancer stem cells (CSCs) on colorectal cancer”. We are attempting to isolate cancer
stem cells and characterize from colon cancer cell line HCT-116, at University of
Hyderabad.
 September, 2016- Current: Working in a project entitled “Butyl gallate, a COX-2 5-
LOX Dual Inhibitor, is a Potential Anti-inflammatory Drug Candidate without
Gastric and Cardiac Side effects”. We are particularly elucidating the anti-
inflammatory effect of butyl gallate using air-pouch mouse model.
 October, 2016- Current: Working in a project entitled “Bacteriostatic and
Bactericidal effect of nanoparticles synthesized from plant extract against multidrug
resistant pathogens”. We are looking into bacteriostatic and bactericidal activity of
nanoparticles (Au and Ag) synthesizes from various plant extracts against multi-drug
resistances pathogens.
