1. INTRODUCTION
Novel Corona Virus Disease is a new type of virus which led to huge destroy in the world.
This was discovered in the year of 2019 in Wuhan, China. Thus this was named as COVID-19
and this was given by World Health Organization (WHO). After the control less situation in
some countries WHO announced COVID as Pandemic. In this article we will study the
complete description about the pandemic called COVID-19
2. DESCRIPTION
In the year of 2020, the most pronounced word in the entire world is COVID 19. Corona
virus made imbalance to the every part of the world irrespective to the nation and region.
Number of people effected and get treated due to this pandemic. Let us study in detail about
this virus.
2.1 ORIGIN OF VIRUS
Corona virus was primarily observed by the Chinese doctor LI WENLIANG. He is a
opthomologist in WUHAN Private Hospital. He observed a SARS like illness in the market of
Wuhan city. 34-year-old Wenliang, censored the virus and reported to his friend through the
message. His chat went on viral and reached upto the Chinese authorities. They have accused
the Wenliang about spreading the romour about virus.
After the couple of days, few people affected the corona virus in the city of Wuhan. On
the Jan 23rd
, 2020 chinese government decided to take the step to prevent the corona virus.
After the few cases they informed to WHO about the corona virus. On Feb 6th
, 2020, Dr.
Wenliang died due to effect of Corona virus. The virus was transmitted from a patient who was
treated by Dr. Wenliang. Then every one noticed that the virus is transmitting from one to one.

2. On such issues, WHO announced this virus as the pandemic and gave a report to all the
countries about corona virus. WHO also discovered that corona virus is a kind of SARS virus
(Severe acute Respiratory Disease ) that happened in 2003 in china and lead 8000 infected
people across the 17 nations. After the announcement of WHO, all countries entered ino the
alert mode and started screening and testing at the international airports. But nothing has
stopped the corona virus to enter into the countries. As a result it was effected to 212 countries
across the world.
2.2 TRANSMISSION OF VIRUS
This virus is transmitted through one to one contact. Transmission of virus has categorized
into 3 groups.
1. Primary contact
2. Secondary contact
3. Community spread
1. Primary Contact: primary contact in the sense when a person comes into the direct
contact with infected person, such cases put into the primary contact category
2. Secondary Contact: when a person infected with corona virus by the transmission from
primary contact, such cases known as secondary contact
3. Community Spread: when primary contacts, secondary contacts are spreading the
transmission regularly to the persons in their surroundings is called as Community
spread. Community spread is considered as critical stage of transmission.
2.3 TYPES OF CORONA VIRUS
According to WHO, the corona virus is divided into two types depends on the illness.
When a person is observed with mild cold and illness it is treated as MIDDLE EAST
RESPIRATORY SYNDROME and when a person observed with high illness it is considered
as SEVERE ACUTE RESPIRATORY SYNDROME.
2.4 SYMPTOMS
The virus is considered as both symptomatic and asymptomatic disease. In the study, there
are some patients who are infected with corona virus without showing any of the symptoms.
But there are some symptoms which are shown by patients. When a person is in contact
with affected person it may take upto 14days to shown out the symptoms. The symptoms
of COVID 19 are listed below

 Cough
 Shortness of breath
 Breathing difficulties
 Cold
 Head ache for long period
 Ortho problems
 Nasal congestion
 Runny nose
 Diarrhea
 Aches and pains
on an average it will take 5-6 days to show the symptoms but sometimes it may take upto
14days.
3. MATHEMATICAL DESCRIPTION
In this section, we are going to study the count of the infected people with corona virus.
On December 30th
, 2019 Dr. Li observed the virus at wuhan, but corona virus was infected
to the Chinese in the month of January. There is a rapid increase in the positive cases in
china from the month of January. When there is a spreading to another countries, the count
was increased at a high rate. In the china country, the infected people count was reached
to 85000 in a month. The death cases was reached to 4000 by the end of April.
Simultaneously the positive case rate and death rate was increased rapidly all over the
world. The most affected country due to the covid 19 is USA, SPAIN, ITALY, etc…in
USA and Italy the positive cases count was reached into lakhs and and death cases was
increased to above 50K. In the india, increase of the positive cases count was not at a peaks
due to the lockdown. However, the positive cases was reached upto the 70K and death cases
was upto 2K. apart from the positive count, the discharged people count was also upto a
satisfactory count. When we considered into the percentages, overall death rate was 3%
which was very least than any other disease like SWINE FLU, EBOLA, SPANISH FLU.
But corona virus is not a thing which has a particular validity, the positive cases and death
cases will be increasing until and unless a vaccine or treatment arises for COVID 19.

4. 4. PREVENTION AND TREATMENT
The prevention given by the WHO for the pandemic COVID 19 is Physical Distance.
Because this virus can be transmitted from a person to person within the radius of 3meters.
When the people implement the physical distance, there may be the minor chances of attacking
the virus onto the body.
Apart from the physical distance, there are more prevention are followed by the people..
1. Washing hands frequently
2. Wearing masks
3. Applying sanitizers
4. Sanitizing the surroundings
5. Self Quarantine
6. Drinking Hot water
7. Taking vitamin c food
With these preventions, the corona virus may stand away from the people who exposing
to external environment. This virus may leave on the hands or any body part for couple of
hours, by applying the sanitizers or washing hands the virus cannot enter into the body. This
virus is not as much as dangerous when it does not enter into the internal parts of the body. If
it enters into the body, the virus does not goes in deeper to the body, it remains at the throat for
some hours. This can be defeated by drinking hot water. Even it entered into the body, the
person cannot be much affected when the immune system is strong. So to strengthen the
immune system vitamin c plays a vital role.
Apart from these preventions, worldwide countries have applied a theory called
LOCKDOWN. It means that whole country will be in sleep mode, such that peoples exposing
to external environments can be reduced. At last this theory was a successful and saved many
of the lives. The best example for implementing the lockdown is India, Australia, Canada, etc,..
As far as treatment concern, there is no perfect treatment protocol for the covid 19.
Those people are infected with corona virus, they kept under the observation of government
doctors and keep on improving the immune. Paracetmol and Hydrochloqurine are the two drugs
which are primarily used for the patients. Later on some countries implemented the theory
called PLASMA THERAPY for positive affected people. Plasma therapy is a procedure of

5. collecting plasma from a recovered patient and workout on positive people. At some regions,
this therapy also a success step for treating the people. But there is no a perfect protocol for
treating the people. On whole, the treatment for each and every one is Quarantine.
5. EFFECTS OF VIRUS ON REAL WORLD
Apart from infected people, the people from every sector faced the problems due to
lockdown about COVID 19. The government has faced a huge loss for every day. The trading
has been paused for the couple of days. Daily wage workers are went to the crisis level due to
no financial transactions.
There are lot of category of students who faced psychological problems due to the
incompletion the courses and examinations. The major industries those faced a huge loss due
to corona virus are listed below

6. MYTHS
There are lot of rumors has been passed about the corona virus on the social media.
Coincidently the myths are also been passed from one to one. On each and every myth WHO
gave the clarification and discussed about those.
We listed some of the facts that announced by WHO

2. Adding pepper to your soup or other metals does not prevent covid 19
3. Covid 19 is not transmitted through house flies
4. Spraying bleach or another disinfectant will not protect the covid 19
5. Drinking methanol, ethanol does not prevent covid 19
6. 5G mobile network does not spread covid 19
7. Exposing to the sun or higher temperature does not prevent covid 19
8. Being able to hold your breath for 10seconds is mean you are free from corona virus
disesase
9. Drinking alcohol does not prevent covid 19
10. Covid 19 virus can be transmitted in hot and humid climates
11. Cold weather cannot kill new corona virus
12. Taking hot bath does not prevent corona virus
13. Corona virus cannot be transmitted through mosquito bite
On whole, this virus is transmitted through direct contact with effected people. And it can
be cured when the immune system is strong
7. RESEARCH ON VACCINE
As there are no drugs to cure the covid 19, to bring out the vaccine number of universities,
research centres and institutions are under the generation of vaccine. There are some trails has
been done human and animals which resulted in success. But there is no perfect vaccine
introduced in to the market.
The major countries which are very hard at their research about the vaccine are INDIA,
USA, SPAIN, IJRAEL, UK, etc, .. oxford university, US has announced the work about the
vaccine and they are working to release the vaccine by 2021. UK has performed the trials on a
person for week of period and got the positive result.
IJRAEL country has started their research work secretly and they announced in public
about there positive work towards the vaccine and they said they are ready to produce
commercially in to the world.
In india, there are lot of companies called Santa biotics, Bharath Biotics and ICMR with
AIMS are working on the vaccine. From the india there is a chance of release of corona virus
vaccine by the September 2020.

7. 8. FUTURE SCOPE
World has faced a lot of health crisis in the past, there is no doubt the world will definitely
defeat the corona virus, because there are huge research works are going on the vaccination
and drug for the prevention and cure. There are lot of theories are which are under research for
the treatment for covid 19. There is technique called NANO ARRAY SYSTEM which is trying
to implement on corona virus
9. CONCLUSION
This paper was written to give a brief idea about the people who want to know about
CORONA VIRUS. And these updates are upto the May, 2020. Hope the world will heal the
issue of COVID 19 and the patients and get well and the shorter time and wishing all the
scientist who are working sincerely for the vaccination. To prevent the future crisis,
implementing the physical distance and taking the precautions for every individuals are the
best policies.
