6. Internet of Things- Portal for IoT Devices
Co-create Session with Stakeholders
Conducted co-create sessions to understand business requirements and define problem statement, which led to
finalize project roadmap and define features for different user groups.
It was an interactive and iterative session to discuss multiple ideas and define structure of the application.
Define User Groups
Based on the different tasks that can be performed within the application, various user groups were
defined and created task flows to achieve system goals.
The system has user roles configured in following 4 groups:
Portal Admin to manage Companies: Access to create and manage accounts of various
companies, along with issuing license as per the contract.
Company Admin to manage Clients: Access to create and manage accounts of various clients, defining limits to
add devices and users adhering to contract between company and clients.
Client Admin to manage users and device clusters: Access to create new admin users and manage
users for device clusters.
Cluster User: Access to cluster status which is allocated to them by admin for particular IOT solution.
