1. Let’s Brainstorm!
Mr Men and Little Miss Project

2. Main objective
The main idea is for our students to write
collaboratively a Mr Men or Little Miss
bilingual story (or sort of) and publish it (online
or why not on paper for the best ones ?)

3. Main idea
The book should consist of a few pages + a
cover page (front cover with the name and the
illustration, back cover with a short summary).
Each part will present a French and English
version of the text.

4. Prologue - September
Have all our students write a short presentation
(or maybe record a voki ?)
→ they’ll choose who they want to work with
→ to avoid multiplying the stories, we had them
work in groups (3 French + 3 English students)
= 1 story)

5. Step 1 - October
Let’s draw!
Have our students in each group draw a Mr
Men or Little Miss and send their creations to
their partners.
In groups of 6, we’ll have 6 characters, they’ll
have to vote for the best one ?

6. Step 1 - November-December
Let’s give it a name!
Let’s describe its physical appearance and talk
about his personality (good and bad points).
Same procedure, work on personality adjectives
(French and English) and defend their choice.

7. Step 2 - January - February
What does it like?
Work on food or sports and list things the
character likes-doesn’t like

8. Step 3 - March - April
What does it do all day long?
Work on daily routine

9. Step 4 - May
What can it do ?
Work on sports and activities.

10. Epilogue - May-June
Let’s publish it!
