Three "thermometers" show what percentage of American adults have internet access, home broadband access, or have a cell phone. Based on a national phone survey done in December 2008 by the Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project in partnership with the California HealthCare Foundation. N = 2,253 adults, age 18 and older. Interviews were conducted in English or Spanish and included 502 cell-phone interviews.
