All cops are bastards
1. ALL COPS ARE BASTARDS
A brief catalog of police brutality and an explanation of the protests of this
2. ACAB/1312
”All cops are bastards” uses bastard as a version of the word BASTARDIZE- TO CORRUPT
NOT ALL COPS ARE BAD, I’ve met cops some of whom were nice people but because they work
in a corrupt system and therefore represent a corrupted form of justice.
All cops are bastards because when they break the law they are corrupt because their personal
feelings get in the way of their jobs, and when they follow the laws they are supporting a corrupt
system.
PERSONAL CORRUPTION- RACISM, SEXISM,HOMOPHOBIA, Ableism ,KNOWLEDGE THAT THEY
WON’T GET IN TROUBLE(MORE ON THAT LATER)
SYSTEMATIC CORRUTRION-https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/virginia-politics/virginia-

Indian religious freedom act
3. Black lives matter / all lives matter/ blue lives matter
Black lives matter- an organization born to ensure justice for black citizens of the US, UK, and
Canada including queer, trans, disabled, and undocumented black people
All lives matter- a protest of the black lives matter organization that has been appropriated by
rights activist along with black lives matter
Blue lives matter- a protest of black lives matter with the central belief that killing a cop should be
counted as a hate crime
1. No they don’t matter, if you chose to be a cop then you already saying that you are willing to put others
lives above your own, choosing to be less impoortant
2. No it shouldn’t, a hate crime is one based on race, gender, sexuality, or religion (none of which are a
choice), while being a cop is
4. The riots
the police are not handling this well, they are using mace on crowds of peaceful protesters,
abusing their power, making things worse
Zellnor Myrie-senator Pepper sprayed and handcuffed in New York

5. Breonna Taylor, murder victim
26-year-old EMT killed in March
Why police broke into her house: they were there with a no knock warrant, looking for two drug
dealers who were already in custody one of which shared the last name “Walker” with Kenneth
walker the homeowner but there is no family relation between the two.
What the police did: entered without announcing themselves, without any police gear after
midnight, Kenneth walker fired a gun at the intruders and hit one cop in the leg they then fired
back hitting Breonna 8 times. They arrested Kenneth for attempted murder of a cop. They found
no drugs. No evidence has been brought forward that would lead officers to believe that either
resident would have an affiliation with the drug dealers.
6. Police violence regarding race
https://mappingpoliceviolence.org/unarmed ( list of 100 in 2015)
10 were charged, 4 were convicted and got 4 years, 2.5 years, 90 days, and...
Savannah, GA: Ojibade's girlfriend called 911 to ask police to take him to the hospital because he was having a manic episode
(he had bipolar disorder). Instead, they arrested him and took him to the Chatham County Detention Center. The Sheriff's
Office claims that he fought officers, so they put him in a restraining chair. He died in the restraining chair.
Deputy Kenny was convicted of cruelty to an inmate and Deputy Evans was convicted of public records fraud and three
counts of perjury for killing Matthew. Deputy Kenny was sentenced to 1 year in jail - to be served only on weekends - and 3
years probation while Deputy Evans was sentenced to 6 years probation.
7. Punishment for murder
Murder (premeditated)-20 years, life, or death
Voluntary manslaughter (on purpose) - 10 to 20
Involuntary manslaughter (accidental)- 5 to 10
Minor misdemeanors- 90 days
8. More African American deaths

for faulty tags, when asked to exit the vehicle she asked if she could stay seated because she was
pregnant, she was pulled out of the car, kicked in the stomach and arrested, she had a miscarriage on
the cell floor
Antwon rose-https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ib6Q69-ta3A shot for running from the cops
9. Object permanence
Many people don’t think that these things happen daily simply
because they don’t hear about it, these people lack object
permanence
Object permanence is the understanding that objects continue
to exist even when they cannot be seen, heard, touched,
smelled or sensed in any way.
Usually gained at the age of 4-7 months
11. Disability and mental illness

12. More on mental illness
https://mappingpoliceviolence.org/unarmed ( list of 100 in 2015)
Michael noel- bipolar- mom called cops to help bring him to a hospital during a manic episode,
he was shot twice in the chest while already in hand cuffs
Roy Nelson-unknown illness- cops called to take him to the hospital for a mental evaluation, he
started kicking the window saying he couldn’t breath, he later died in the car from a heart attack
Spring valley high school, unnamed learning disabled African American girl was beaten by a cop
for not leaving her seat.
13. Domestic abuse
10% of families experience domestic abuse
Three separate credible nationwide studies on domestic abuse by officers have been conducted
in recent years they found 40%, 40%, and 24% of cops were domestic abusers.
https://www.theguardian.com/society/2019/oct/20/domestic-abuse-within-police-force-to-be-
investigated
14. Why protest?
People are NOT protesting: cops killing dangerous people, cop killing criminals
People ARE protesting: cops murdering unarmed, compliant civilians, cops not facing legal
repercussions, police departments sending more officers to protect the house of a murderer than
they send to help people that are victims of the riots, people ignoring these murders even when
there is footage showing they didn’t resist, and people lying and saying that these people were in
any way violent to make it look like justice.
15. Stanford prison experiment
Absolute power corrupts absolutely the Stanford prison experiment gave college students
unchecked power (like the police) which shows that people will be violent if given the
opportunity.
Psychological experiment with college students acting as prisoners and wardens
Had to be cut short when the wardens, who had no history of violence ended up beating their
fellow students
(for similar examples of how power corrupts people please refer to all slavery systems throughout
history, all dictatorships, and all accounts of people talking about racism, sexism, ableism,
homophobia, transphobia, and and other form of prejudice)
16. But we need them
Cops may be cruel, corrupt, racist, wife beaters but we need police to be safe
What about crime? It would be anarchy? They protect us!
17. Sexual assault and rape
https://opsvaw.as.uky.edu/sites/default/files/07_Rape_Prosecution.pdf
18% of women will be raped at least once in their life
10% of those rapists are reported to the police
14-18% of those reports lead to prosecution
18% of those prosecutions lead to a conviction
Police put away 2.52% of reported rapists
Police put away 0.04536% of all rapists
18. Percentage of solved crimes (as reported by the FBI)
All violent crimes-21.6%
Reported Violent crimes-46%
All property crimes-6.65%
Reported Property crimes- 19%
19. All cops are bastards
Not all are criminals
Not all are bad people
But those who are innocent of violent crimes often don’t report fellow cops who are
They all know that they can do whatever they want (absolute power corrupts absolutely)
And they support a corrupt system
All. Cops. Are. Bastards.
