Coach
Coach students through their developmental
leadership journey (LDR 325) as part of the
Leader Certificate Program and the Faith-Based
Leader Program.
Qualifications for the coach are completion of
the Strengths Based Educator and Strengths
Based Coaching courses offered by Gallup
(SBED 100 and SBED 200) and appropriate
leadership experience.
Teacher
Teach the courses (LDR 225, LDR 425, and LDR
324) that make up the Leader Certificate
Program and the Faith-Based Leader Program.
Qualifications for the professor of record are a
minimum of a Masters degree, and at least one
of the following:
1. Scholarly study in leadership
2. Significant professional experience in
leadership
3. Published scholarly research in leadership
The Franz Center deploys Dexheimer Leadership Fellows
in support of Leader Development at UP.
Purpose
Encourage, develop, and help prepare students for tomorrow.

What’s In It For You
Instruction: You will take leadership courses immersing you in
cutting edge leadership theory and research all accessible through a
digital leadership library.
Practice: You will complete leader experiences that build your leader
character habits, competencies and confidence to lead in complex
situations, which will place you ahead of your peers as you enter the
workforce.
Reflection: You will engage in developmental conversations
throughout the duration of our programs with a coach that is
invested in your development as a leader.
