Objectives
I’m Periyakaruppan Neelamegam, having overall 11.10 years which includes ~2 years non-IT and ~9.10
years IT of experience in Information Technology. As an experienced SAN / System administrator in a
highly esteemed company, have well experienced in Information Technology industry with prime
focus on EMC SAN products like symmetrix VMAX and DMX, IBM, VNX, clariion, celerra, Centera,
Recoverpoint and VMware ESX / ESXi Administration support, have very good proficiency in System
Integration & Infrastructure managed services. And also have very good knowledge and experience
with the enterprise Backup software’s and fabric networks such as CISCO and Brocade.

As a SAN administrator lead, I’m providing complete storage and backup administration and
architecture design support to the commercial bank of Qatar, who is the second leading bank
in Qatar. And providing suggestions and discussing with leads to maintain a standard process
in terms of storage and backup administration which makes the SAN administration job as
easier and simple, and also the environment clean and easy management.
I have taken project manager role and leading a storage upgrade of CCTV project of more than
30 branches.
• I have saved 3.4 million dollars money reclaiming 40 Terabytes of space while the
bank was struggling with actual and available storage capacity, and
• Have documented a standard procedure for storage management and
administrations.
• Took leadership and have done the array migration from Clariion and DMX array to
VNX array, and DMX array to VNX array
• Have suggested and done zero downtime migration using the PPME of a host which is
very most critical system to the bank.

point, SRDF, MirrorView, Celerra / VNX Replica.

• Providing timely reports to the management about the storage growth and other
storage related improvement tasks.
• Have done successful migration of a windows standalone “File share” server shares
to VNX NAS ensuring the permissions and data integrity.
