Metrowine Distribution Company, Inc., a source of fine wine since
1988, has attained a position as one of the top global purveyors of
Bordeaux wine. Continuously augmenting its international
offerings, Metrowine is a fine wine leader in the New York
Metropolitan market and beyond, offering premium products,
impeccable customer service and a sound IT /Logistics platform.
Metrowine has made itself synonymous with Luxury and lifestyle
niche brands, driving new trends in the US market. The company
focus is marketing limited production, ultra premium wine and
spirits to diverse clientele.

4. A Family History
 Patrick Baugier’s ancestors started their negociant
business in the 17th century.
 In the 18th century, Edme Baugier wrote Memoires
Historiques de la Province de Champagne V1 & 2,
detailing the history of Champagne.
 In the 20th century, Patrick’s father Jacques Baugier
was the head of the Saint-Emilion Wine Growers
Association, one of the largest organizations in all of
France managing more than 25% of the appellation.
 In 1988, Metrowine Distribution Inc. was founded in
the USA by Patrick Baugier.
