Project Title : Enterprise DataWarehousing System
Client : General Electrics (GE)

Project Type : Development
The project is the match funding process for various businesses of GE Capital. The source is EDW or the data
is directly pulled from the source system. EDW sends the account, cash flow and index related data to the
further team after applying transformations as defined by the business requirements. This involves gathering
requirements from the customer incorporating the business requirements and sending out the extracts to the
business team. This project comprises of a team of total four members of which 3 are at offshore and 1 onshore.
Responsibilities:
 Interact with business user to understand business requirements to be converted into ETL solutions.
 To prepare System Requirement Specification (SRS) and preparing design documents and providing
the same to the team.
 Create technical design document for proposed solution marking the design and build phase closure
 Extract, transform and load data into data warehouse, based on design and technical specifications
 Creating UAT compression sheets for user simplifying the UAT phase for users deployment
 Conduct end user training and user support during application stabilization
 Database planning, Review of High level design (HLD), Data Flow Diagrams (DFD),Internal/
External Quality reviews using IPMS
 Development of mappings/session/transformations/work let and workflows.
 Attending project status meetings with client to understand issues / new implementations in
production and providing best solution for them.
