Compensation Strategies
Helping all levels of students who don’t know an
expression, who fail to hear something clearly and who
are faced with the situation that not clear about the
meaning of the vocabulary to overcome these
knowledge limitations in all four skills.

Guessing intelligently
Generally, guessing is useful for listening and
reading. It helps the students to think about their old
knowledge and try out to answer before they get all
comprehension of the words. It’ll help them get more
understanding in meaning of words
Using other clues
Helping the students to get a whole
comprehension of the word, sentence or content
of the situation by using other materials such as
pictures, VDO, audio sound or other media in
stead of using only linguistic. Let them try out to
find the answer or meaning of the words. And
they will get more clearly understanding.
Activity 1 (Where are they?)
  Reference:

(We applied the method of this activity by using the pictures
and audio sounds to guide the students in order to make them
gain more comprehension and can find the correct words with
the pictures. )
