When you’re having a conversation with someone or a group
of people It’s when someone is making a noise for another
person .to listen to. There are many other types of verbal
communication skills for example
• cheering at a rugby/football match,
• screaming at a concert,
• Etc…
Non-Verbal communication skills:
None Verbal communication is the opposite to verbal
communication skills, instead of making noise it is when you’re
not allowed to make noise. This is usually sign language, other
body language or texting.
3. Examples of good communication skills
• Sign language- For people with no hearing.
• Body language- Dancing.
• Texting- Instead of speaking.
• Speaking- Telling someone something.
• Gesture- Swearing.
• Posture- Standing a certain way to tell someone
something.
• Eye contact- Looking at some ones eyes to show
you’re interested.
• Facial Expressions- Frowning.
• Sound- Making a noise to alert someone.
• Touch- Tapping someone to get their attention.
4. Consequences of bad communication skills:
• Might not be able to get a job easily
• Might not be able to make friends easily, people
might think you’re ignorant.
• Might not be able to present your work easily.
