Tips to prevent burn-out and overload:
• Create a “team” to help in the caregiving process
• Let your children, spouse, and employer know
about your new caregiving responsibilities
• Talk with your manager or HR department
• Try to give yourself a break
Know your strengths and set your limits.
Be prepared for feelings of frustration and guilt.
