was closed almost 22 years ago. Howeverin

Wodzisław Śląski-Population
Someday Wodzisław belonged to the biggest cities
in Silesia but cos of World Wars and natural
disasters became small one. We could see
unexpected development of city in the 60s and 70s
of the twentieth century when to Wodzisław
attached Radlin, Rydułtowy, Marklowice and Pszów
(around 100 000 citizens). It didn’t last for a long
time because in the 90s all those cities become
separate. Nowadays in Wodzisaław live 47 813
people (2019).

Wodzisław Śląski is situatedat the junction of several major lines of road,
railway and air communication. Only 5 km from centerthe town crossing
motorway A1. The town is crossed by one national road ( "DK78" ) and three
regional roads running from Gliwice to Ostravaand regional roads from Żory
and JastrzębieZdrój to Racibórz. The railway junction at "Wodzisław Śląski" is a
major transshipment point ( to Vienna, Prague, Varsow)

Górniczna. I think the fastest way is
driving on highways A1 and A4- it is
almost 90 kilometersand 1 hour and
10 minutes.

few days in our city enjoying nature
which is missing here is a brilliant idea.

side of town to another. If you prefer
faster way of transport, you can rent a
scooter. In Wodzisław also there are a
lot of bike paths which leads to Market
Squere.

He is the most famous and probably the happiest drowning. Legend has it
that he was an angel a long time ago, but for his evil deeds he was cast
down from heaven. Unlike many others, he did not fall to the ground,
thanks to which he did not becomea devil. He landed in the swamps by the
Lesnica River, where he made friend with Beelzebub.For a time, they
made life difficultfor the locals together,but they did not react as the
creaturesexpected.
People were simply not afraid of them.
