I am tired of waiting for change
I am tired of so many things I can't even choose one. I
think they all connect, they all create the society in which
we live; the society we are.
I am tired of seeing every day that another woman was
murdered just for being a woman. Tired of being afraid to
walk alone in the street. Tired of discrimination of all
kinds; discrimination in foreign countries, discrimination
in our country, discrimination in the world; which is at last
people hurting people. People feeling the right to mistreat
someone for their skin colour, for the way they talk or the
way they dress. I am tired of the abuse of power, tired of
politicians and their false promises. However, the thing
that i’m tired about the most is the people who do not
question all this things. People who were born in this
bubble(as we did) and do not question that there is more
out there than that. That their reality is no the world’s
reality.
People who prefer to live in their closed minds; people who do not
question the privileges in which they were born. People, people,
people: we are the problem.
I am also tired of waiting for a magic solution, tired of complaining
but not doing. Frustrated that we still have to debate and discuss
things that shouldn't be on discussion at all. Tired of not being
able to express what I believe in because its not politically correct.
Tired of being afraid of the look of others, of what the others can
say. Tired that there is always a division for EVERYTHING.
I am tired of waiting for change; I want change, we need change.
But sometimes I think it's very naive to think that a change will
occur; in spite of the protests in spite of everything we keep
repeating the past. We study and learn from discrimination in the
past and we horrorize ourselves; we think of it as something very
far away but its not. It’s still happening, some people do not
evolve, do not change and I am tired of it.
Lucia Caviglione
very , very tired...
It is expected that we take care and respect nature, respect
the world, but we don't even do that with ourselves!!! I am
tired of people who say to me I have to respect other opinions
because there are some things that are intolerable; i mean i’m
sorry but if your opinion its not respecting others I’m not going
to respect it. I am tired of hypocrisy; of people who say they
defend something and they support it only because it's a
trend, only because it’s cool. But then with their acts show the
contrary.
I am tired of the constant pressures from everywhere: the
perfect body, the perfect career, the perfect job, the perfect
face, the perfect clothes. I am tired of perfection. In fact, i am
tired that there is only one way of perfection. I am tired of
being tired of it, but at the same time, deep down, being
influenced by it. I am tired of the effort it takes not to be
influenced by stereotypes; tired of letting them control me.
I am tired of not being taken seriously only because I am young; of
being underestimated only because of my age. There is so much
people who are much older than me, and are much more empty.
Only because you are old it doesn't mean you carry the truth (by the
way who does after all) Most of us teens question and think, and we
are mostly judge by our parents, our grandparents for wanting this
change. I dont understand if it is because: A) they want us to live the
same way they did, which is funny because we know the
consequences of it, we are LIVING THEM. B) they just gave up; they
have been in our place and have lost hope that a change can be
achieved. But I refuse to think that way, I just can't.
I am tired of so many things i can't even count them; but the things
that frustrate me the most, its that we repeat them all over again. We
know it hurts, we want them to change but all over the years,
centuries, generations, things keep repeating. How we will be able to
change if change means something different to everyone? How can
we change if there is people who do not want change. I am tired of
waiting for change but how do we change? Sometimes I ask to
myself: Are we as capable of change, as we are of destroying? Until I
find no answer and get tired: tired of even thinking about this utopian
world which will never exist beyond our imagination and desire.
Lucia Caviglione
I’m Tired of Racism
I'm angry!
Someone please
explain to me why the
color of your skin,
gives you superiority
of one race over the
others
Who do you
think you are?
Better than the
other, because
of its color?
Do you really think
that someone's
skin color defines
him? Does it make
him inferior?
WE ARE
THE
SAME!!!
I am tired. I am tired of racism. I am tired of people thinking they are better because
of the color of their skin. I am tired of a systematic racism. I am tired of the judgment. I
am tired of seeing innocent black people being treated as animals. I am tired of white
people calling the police over a black men. I am tired of black people having problems to
get a job.
Maybe people think that they must be slaves. Maybe people think that they can be a
thrift. Maybe people think that they are dangerous. Maybe people think that they have to
protect themselves because black people have the highest number of crimes committed.
But maybe we, white people, should know that the we are the cause of everything,
and the that we committed and still commit more crimes. We started the WW1. We
started the WW2. We started the slavery. We started the Russian Civil War. We started
the Napoleonic Wars. We started the Thirty Years War. We started the Massacre in
Congo. We stared the Nazism. We started the dictatorship. We started the Invasion in
Afghanistan. We started the religious wars. We stared the Conquests of America.
We, white people, started all. If it wasn't for us, racism wouldn't exist. If it wasn't for
us, lives wouldn't be lost. I it wasn't for us, we would all be in peace.
So STOP, and think of what you are going to say next, about black people.
STOP!!!!!!
I'm tired of
Gender Inequality and Femicides
I'm tired. I am tired that today they continue to see us different, they continue to see us inferior. I am
tired of seeing in the news every day that there are missing women, dead women, murdered. I am tired. I
am tired of continuing to live in a society where fear in women is naturalized. I am tired of asking my
friends if they got home well, when they came back walking alone. I am tired of being seen by beings
capable of everything. I am simply tired.
I reccomend to see this speech of Emma Watson, if you are tired of all this too
Olivia Obligado
I am really really tired
I'm tired. More than tired, fed up. Tired of living in a world which
continues judging women. Tired of the typical stereotypes and
prototypes that mark our day to day in how we have to dress, how
much we have to weigh, how we have to put on makeup, how we have
to behave, until what vocabulary to use. I am tired of people
thinking that they're still have power over us. We have to be
together, we have to stop being tired from all this, we have to
empower ourselves, we have to live life without fear, without
prejudice, live without a mental burden on our consciousness for
what they will say. We are women, tired women, ¿how dangerous is
that, not it? The day in which we all leave tiredness aside and
reveal ourselves. what a great day!, I hope it comes soon, that
evilness disappears, that prejudices cease to exist, that femicides
are part of the past, just like my tiredness of repeating this in my
head every day of my life.
Olivia Obligado
I am tired of human Self-Destruction
● Either by war or pollution or repression by the government
or marginalisation of others who are different
● People claim they are doing things for our own good. War
is to find peace, pollution is the result of selling cheap
products, repression is to achieve support, marginalisation
is for maintaining pureness.
● Meanwhile, all those allegedly beneficial claims are
destroying society. All of it is destroying the environment.
All of it is destroying our home.
Anouk de Laferrère
Human is relentless
regarding its life. It produces
in order to make money a
product that is harmful to
itself.
It creates things, “inventions”
that are praised and
applauded, but are the cause
of millions of deaths of living
creatures. Not only is
humanity responsible for the
death of their one kind, but
also of animals and
organisms that inhabit the
Earth too.
Human is ruthless when it
comes to overachieving
himself. It is constantly trying
to be better. However, it is
simultaneously causing an
opposite effect.
Technological improvements
led to the creation of most of
the essential items that are
needed nowadays, and
quarantine showed us that.
Yet, it has also led to
addictions or depression,
caused by the combination of
both: human and technology.
HUMANITY WILL TAKE
ITSELF TO ITS DOOM
I'm tired of being afraid. I'm tired of inequality. I'm tired of the way some have
everything, while others have nothing. I'm tired of being unable to change what I
would want to. I'm tired of racism. I'm tired of femicides. I'm tired of stereotypes.
I'm tired of being locked down. I'm tired of human greed. I'm tired of hate. I'm tired
of inaction. I'm tired of lack of empathy. I'm tired of settling. I'm tired of being tired,
because I'm tired of so many things that it is impossible to give it a title, or even so
to write them all.
Abril
I’m tired of us, of people, of how self-centered the human being is that many just settle when
they have their own commodities. Of people, who understand injustices as part of life, as if it
was the same to change that reality or not.
I'm tired of being silent, just because my word might bother someone. Of staying quiet in
moments our words need to be heard.
I'm tired of my privileges, i am truly thankful for them, but how much easier would it be to live
in a world where our privileges weren't privileges, but just characteristics and opportunities we
all had.
I'm tired of our world, how much fair would it be to live in one where our money and
commodities depended on hard work and not on luck, or on the place we are born.
I'm tired of power, of many leaders who have in their hands a good chance to change
significant aspects, but instead, prefer to fill their pockets.
I'm tired...
I´m tired of...
Human selfishness
The news distorted view
Animal abuse
Racism
The government's lies
The government's secrets
Violence between us
Violence towards nature
The panic generated by the
government and the news
Stereotypes
Waiting
Superiority
The thirst of power
Little empathy people have
Inequality
...being tired
Competition
Getting my hopes up for
something, that I dont know
if it will ever happen

I am tired of being stuck at home
Juana Zufriategui
I have never imagine neither experience being in
quarantine in my whole life. It feels weird to be
isolated from everyone without being able to see
or hug someone, without being in contact with
people. It is for this reason that I am tired of this, I
am tired of not being able to see my friends, I am
tired of being afraid when going out on the street
for fear of catching me, I am tired of being locked
up.
I am tired of discrimination and racism especially towards black people
Juana Zufriategui
I am tired of superiority, of people that look down at others as if
they were superior. We are all the same, no matter the colour of
our skin or if we look different. I am tired of discrimination.
I´m tired of stereotypes
I´m tired of how much we continue seeing people as "different" just because they
do not comply with the stereotypes that society created many years ago.
I´m tired that in 2020, people keep looking weird or gossiping about homosexual
people, fat people, dark-skinned people, transgender people, and even people
who dress differently from others.
We are all different: we think different, we feel different, we dress differently, we
like different things. And all this differences are not bad; I find them incredible. So
we should start looking more at ourselves and stop observing and criticizing the
other, because the only thing we achieve is to hurt.
Bianca Ieraci
I´m tired of everything (Juan)
I'm tired of this lockdown. I am tired of feeling my house as a prison, i am tired of
the fights between me and members of my family. Tired of exhausted all the time. I
hate being always on my room. I hate keep losing valuable time in my last year of
school. I am tired of looking to a screen 24/7. Of being judge of who I am or how I
look. I am tired of how this world has develop, how people act and how the
consequences affect us.
I am tired of the lockdown (Luz)
I am tired of the lockdown. I am tired of the impossibility of being
free, of getting our lives back. I am tired of feeling imprisoned in a
cage, where I have to hid if I want to see someone, as if we weren’t
free human beings with the possibility of act upon our will. I am
tired of wearing masks and seeing others with masks, as if we were
some kind of experiment. The mask suffocates me; it serves as a
constant reminder of this living hell. It also deprives me from feeling
fresh air, even though I do not get to feel it everyday. I am tired of
having this daily empty routine, and powerless to know I cannot do
anything about it.
I am tired of the lockdown ( Luz)
I feel deeply
attached to this poem
during these times...
I am tired of the world we are living in (Luz)
I am also tired of the world we are living in. The same world past generations promised to change but
neither did so. And the same world this generation aims at changing, but won’t, because human nature
will never change. We are greedy and selfish, I am tired of that too. I am tired of all the constant injustices;
people being treated different just because of their skin color. This leads to an hypocritical world; we study
the horrors of main historical events and state powerful critics about them, as if those things didn’t happen
nowadays. We convince ourselves that the human being has evolved and therefore, would never even
think about committing such crimes again. But then we find ourselves protesting against a police officer
that killed a black man, just because of the colour of his skin. It seems something hard to believe, but it is
even harder having to accept it. And therefore, having to accept that this is it; this is our world, it is not
going to change and it is our responsibility to deal with the consequences of human cruel deeds. It is a
sad world, and I am tired of accepting it, or having to. We try to express this discontent through art, such
as writing. However, it does not seem enough; different authors with the right ideas do not receive the
credit they should. Because otherwise, the world would be different. Perhaps if we could all learn from
their words, we would start building valuable principles. Maybe that’s what humans need. Or maybe it is
just a fantasy.

In fact, i am tired that there is only one way of perfection. I am tired of being tired of it, but at the same time, deep down, being influenced by it. I am tired of the effort it takes not to be influenced by stereotypes; tired of letting them control me. I am tired of not being taken seriously only because I am young; of being underestimated only because of my age. There is so much people who are much older than me, and are much more empty. Only because you are old it doesn't mean you carry the truth (by the way who does after all) Most of us teens question and think, and we are mostly judge by our parents, our grandparents for wanting this change. I dont understand if it is because: A) they want us to live the same way they did, which is funny because we know the consequences of it, we are LIVING THEM. B) they just gave up; they have been in our place and have lost hope that a change can be achieved. But I refuse to think that way, I just can't. I am tired of so many things i can't even count them; but the things that frustrate me the most, its that we repeat them all over again. We know it hurts, we want them to change but all over the years, centuries, generations, things keep repeating. How we will be able to change if change means something different to everyone? How can we change if there is people who do not want change. I am tired of waiting for change but how do we change? Sometimes I ask to myself: Are we as capable of change, as we are of destroying? Until I find no answer and get tired: tired of even thinking about this utopian world which will never exist beyond our imagination and desire. Lucia Caviglione
  • 4. I’m Tired of Racism
  • 5. I'm angry! Someone please explain to me why the color of your skin, gives you superiority of one race over the others Who do you think you are? Better than the other, because of its color? Do you really think that someone's skin color defines him? Does it make him inferior? WE ARE THE SAME!!!
  • 6. I am tired. I am tired of racism. I am tired of people thinking they are better because of the color of their skin. I am tired of a systematic racism. I am tired of the judgment. I am tired of seeing innocent black people being treated as animals. I am tired of white people calling the police over a black men. I am tired of black people having problems to get a job. Maybe people think that they must be slaves. Maybe people think that they can be a thrift. Maybe people think that they are dangerous. Maybe people think that they have to protect themselves because black people have the highest number of crimes committed. But maybe we, white people, should know that the we are the cause of everything, and the that we committed and still commit more crimes. We started the WW1. We started the WW2. We started the slavery. We started the Russian Civil War. We started the Napoleonic Wars. We started the Thirty Years War. We started the Massacre in Congo. We stared the Nazism. We started the dictatorship. We started the Invasion in Afghanistan. We started the religious wars. We stared the Conquests of America. We, white people, started all. If it wasn't for us, racism wouldn't exist. If it wasn't for us, lives wouldn't be lost. I it wasn't for us, we would all be in peace. So STOP, and think of what you are going to say next, about black people.
  • 8. I'm tired of Gender Inequality and Femicides I'm tired. I am tired that today they continue to see us different, they continue to see us inferior. I am tired of seeing in the news every day that there are missing women, dead women, murdered. I am tired. I am tired of continuing to live in a society where fear in women is naturalized. I am tired of asking my friends if they got home well, when they came back walking alone. I am tired of being seen by beings capable of everything. I am simply tired. I reccomend to see this speech of Emma Watson, if you are tired of all this too Olivia Obligado
  • 9. I am really really tired I'm tired. More than tired, fed up. Tired of living in a world which continues judging women. Tired of the typical stereotypes and prototypes that mark our day to day in how we have to dress, how much we have to weigh, how we have to put on makeup, how we have to behave, until what vocabulary to use. I am tired of people thinking that they're still have power over us. We have to be together, we have to stop being tired from all this, we have to empower ourselves, we have to live life without fear, without prejudice, live without a mental burden on our consciousness for what they will say. We are women, tired women, ¿how dangerous is that, not it? The day in which we all leave tiredness aside and reveal ourselves. what a great day!, I hope it comes soon, that evilness disappears, that prejudices cease to exist, that femicides are part of the past, just like my tiredness of repeating this in my head every day of my life. • 10. I am tired of human Self-Destruction ● Either by war or pollution or repression by the government or marginalisation of others who are different ● People claim they are doing things for our own good. War is to find peace, pollution is the result of selling cheap products, repression is to achieve support, marginalisation is for maintaining pureness. ● Meanwhile, all those allegedly beneficial claims are destroying society. All of it is destroying the environment. All of it is destroying our home. Anouk de Laferrère
  • 11. Human is relentless regarding its life. It produces in order to make money a product that is harmful to itself. It creates things, “inventions” that are praised and applauded, but are the cause of millions of deaths of living creatures. Not only is humanity responsible for the death of their one kind, but also of animals and organisms that inhabit the Earth too. Human is ruthless when it comes to overachieving himself. It is constantly trying to be better. However, it is simultaneously causing an opposite effect. Technological improvements led to the creation of most of the essential items that are needed nowadays, and quarantine showed us that. Yet, it has also led to addictions or depression, caused by the combination of both: human and technology. HUMANITY WILL TAKE ITSELF TO ITS DOOM
  • 12. I'm tired of being afraid. I'm tired of inequality. I'm tired of the way some have everything, while others have nothing. I'm tired of being unable to change what I would want to. I'm tired of racism. I'm tired of femicides. I'm tired of stereotypes. I'm tired of being locked down. I'm tired of human greed. I'm tired of hate. I'm tired of inaction. I'm tired of lack of empathy. I'm tired of settling. I'm tired of being tired, because I'm tired of so many things that it is impossible to give it a title, or even so to write them all. Abril
  • 13. I’m tired of us, of people, of how self-centered the human being is that many just settle when they have their own commodities. Of people, who understand injustices as part of life, as if it was the same to change that reality or not. I'm tired of being silent, just because my word might bother someone. Of staying quiet in moments our words need to be heard. I'm tired of my privileges, i am truly thankful for them, but how much easier would it be to live in a world where our privileges weren't privileges, but just characteristics and opportunities we all had. I'm tired of our world, how much fair would it be to live in one where our money and commodities depended on hard work and not on luck, or on the place we are born. I'm tired of power, of many leaders who have in their hands a good chance to change significant aspects, but instead, prefer to fill their pockets. I'm tired...

  • 15. I am tired of being stuck at home Juana Zufriategui I have never imagine neither experience being in quarantine in my whole life. It feels weird to be isolated from everyone without being able to see or hug someone, without being in contact with people. It is for this reason that I am tired of this, I am tired of not being able to see my friends, I am tired of being afraid when going out on the street for fear of catching me, I am tired of being locked up.
  • 16. I am tired of discrimination and racism especially towards black people Juana Zufriategui
  • 17. I am tired of superiority, of people that look down at others as if they were superior. We are all the same, no matter the colour of our skin or if we look different. I am tired of discrimination.
  • 18. I´m tired of stereotypes I´m tired of how much we continue seeing people as "different" just because they do not comply with the stereotypes that society created many years ago. I´m tired that in 2020, people keep looking weird or gossiping about homosexual people, fat people, dark-skinned people, transgender people, and even people who dress differently from others. We are all different: we think different, we feel different, we dress differently, we like different things. And all this differences are not bad; I find them incredible. So we should start looking more at ourselves and stop observing and criticizing the other, because the only thing we achieve is to hurt. Bianca Ieraci

  • 20. I´m tired of everything (Juan) I'm tired of this lockdown. I am tired of feeling my house as a prison, i am tired of the fights between me and members of my family. Tired of exhausted all the time. I hate being always on my room. I hate keep losing valuable time in my last year of school. I am tired of looking to a screen 24/7. Of being judge of who I am or how I look. I am tired of how this world has develop, how people act and how the consequences affect us.
  • 21. I am tired of the lockdown (Luz) I am tired of the lockdown. I am tired of the impossibility of being free, of getting our lives back. I am tired of feeling imprisoned in a cage, where I have to hid if I want to see someone, as if we weren’t free human beings with the possibility of act upon our will. I am tired of wearing masks and seeing others with masks, as if we were some kind of experiment. The mask suffocates me; it serves as a constant reminder of this living hell. It also deprives me from feeling fresh air, even though I do not get to feel it everyday. I am tired of having this daily empty routine, and powerless to know I cannot do anything about it.
  • 22. I am tired of the lockdown ( Luz) I feel deeply attached to this poem during these times...
  • 23. I am tired of the world we are living in (Luz) I am also tired of the world we are living in. The same world past generations promised to change but neither did so. And the same world this generation aims at changing, but won’t, because human nature will never change. We are greedy and selfish, I am tired of that too. I am tired of all the constant injustices; people being treated different just because of their skin color. This leads to an hypocritical world; we study the horrors of main historical events and state powerful critics about them, as if those things didn’t happen nowadays. We convince ourselves that the human being has evolved and therefore, would never even think about committing such crimes again. But then we find ourselves protesting against a police officer that killed a black man, just because of the colour of his skin. It seems something hard to believe, but it is even harder having to accept it. And therefore, having to accept that this is it; this is our world, it is not going to change and it is our responsibility to deal with the consequences of human cruel deeds. It is a sad world, and I am tired of accepting it, or having to. We try to express this discontent through art, such as writing. However, it does not seem enough; different authors with the right ideas do not receive the credit they should. Because otherwise, the world would be different. Perhaps if we could all learn from their words, we would start building valuable principles. Maybe that’s what humans need. Or maybe it is just a fantasy.
