Project Hub-laboratory Internet of things. The aim of project is to bring together local IOT stakeholders lay the groundwork for the development of innovative ecosystem in Lviv region through the establishment of an Regional Manufacturing innovative hub of Internet of Things which will be a centre of new information technologies and allows to increase the quality of regional ecosystem and straight digital manufacturing in the region. It will be a platform for business, production and education collaboration.

Civitta will help with facilitation of user- supplier partnerships Lviv Polytechnic National University Competence centre / consortium partner LPNU hosts specialized facilities for R&D in IoT, courses for bachelor and master students, wide range of development servicesfor third-part companies

Founding partners Agency for European Innovations (managing partner, element of international networks) Lviv Polytechnic National University (competence centre) Civitta Ukraine (business expertise) Association of Industrial Automation in Ukraine and Unit.City (multipliers of domestic partnership development) The basic partnership has been expanded in order to ensure closer contacts between DIH and manufacturing sector, and we are planning to reach a broader geography of Hub’s influence in Ukraine.

Next steps After the launch of DIH there are few steps expected: • To create an online market place to facilitate an interaction between stakeholders and the hub. • To form use cases for all innovators. • To update current version of competence centre database. The last version of a database ensure the efficiency and quality of services provided. • To search for new clients.The industrial IOT market is evolving and widening, therefore new solution providers and manufacturers are appearing as well. • To develop tailored pilot cases. After 3 years of successful and steady running process, the hub will concentrate on following steps: • Extent to new domains: robotics, HPC, Lasers and Sensors. • Establishment of industrial incubators to enhance a collaboration with startups and cultivate innovation ecosystem that is based on competence centers.
