Key considerations
• So far discussionamong Parties, observers and Non-
Party Stakeholders (NPS) has focused on logistics
• More thought could be put into how to achievethe
stated outcomeof the GST:
• To informParties in updatingand enhancingtheir NDCs, as well
as in enhancinginternationalcooperationfor climate action
• Important to highlightopportunitiesand examples of
good practices to achievethe outcome of the GST to
inform Parties in updating and enhancing their NDCs
with clear positive messagesdrawnfrom
Parties’/ConstitutedBodies’/Obs’/NPS’experience

Additional considerations
•Volume of inputs is a challenge to organize and
focus
•Some degree of repetition is baked in - likely need
to revisit each of the three themes in each technical
dialogue
•Based on experience of Periodic Review can be
challenging to make sessions interactive
•Who will be in the room, and how will the
information move from there?
