The Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival has been held annually in Harbin, China since 1963, except during the Cultural Revolution. Located in northeastern China where winter temperatures drop below -30 degrees Celsius, the festival features massive ice sculptures, snow carvings, and other winter activities. It is one of the largest ice and snow festivals in the world, along with events in Japan, Canada, and Norway.
