7 Members are appointed by the government.
The members have in common their solid experience with committee
and commission work, just as emphasis has been placed on
bringing more expertise and a degree of practical experience into
play in the commission.

5. The first result
With the publication "Recognised, attempted solved, unsolved", the Reform Commission
presents the five themes of challenges that will be addressed in the commission's upcoming
recommendations.
The five challenges:
1. Young people with untapped potential
2. Adults without a foothold in the labor market
3. The educational efforts are not future-proofed
4. Complex meeting between the citizen and the public
5. Unexploited productivity potential

The Reform Commission published its first recommendations on April 6, 2022
The 35 recommendations fall into 3 groups:
• New paths to the longest educations
• Lifelong learning for those with the least education
(14 recommendations)
• Easier to do business
What the recommendations have in common is that they must promote
continued high productivity, which supports high prosperity in Denmark also in the future.

9. Next step
Further recommendations will be published in two separate publications later in 2022:
New pathways to reforms 2, will concern the many young people and adults on the edge of
education and the labor market, integration and focus on the citizen's meeting with the system.
New pathways to reforms 3 (the last publication) will focus on schools, Early Children Education
and Care, Upper Secondary education, teacher competencies in the entire education system and
educational research.
