• The word UN was first given by san Francisco (American president).
• Fist world war (1914 – 1999)
established the league of nations.
• 2nd world war (1993-1945) had brought misery to all the world. million of people was killed ,
hunger , homeless and suffer from poverty and disease.
• The conscience of man was roused and he cried , “let there be an end to war . Let there
be peace and goodwill on earth. Let man live with his fellow –man as brother.”
