5. OVERVIEW OF AN APPLICATION
• The main objective of the project is to develop software that
facilitates the data storage, data maintenance and its retrieval for the
Bakery in an igneous way.
• To store the record of the customers, the staff that has the privileges
to access, modify and delete any record and finally the service , bakery
provides to its customers.
• Also, only the staff has the privilege to access any database and make
the required changes, if necessary.
6. FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENT FOR SYSTEM
• 1. The system shall provide a convenient interface for User
Registration, Categories, Items Search and Payment.
• 2. A guest user can only view items. For any kind of shopping, he/she
must have to register.
• 3. The system should be able to show bakery products in their
respective categories.
• 4. The system shall be capable to generate invoice bill and the
Customer shall be able to pay it online.
• 5. The system shall provide a Password Recovery facility through
customer email id.

9. SERVICE DESCRIPTION
• Bakery Management System is an online service that can be setup for
your bakery to help manage classes, memberships, receive payments
(merchant and cash), keep track with detailed statistics, customer
management, surveys and it even has an online store so you can sell
products to your customers.
• Here is our feature list which is continually growing.
• Manage customers.
• Manage customer surveys .

16. MODULES & DESCRIPTION:-
Authenticate User:-
• The Bakery Management System first activates the login form.
• Here the user enters the User name and password and our system
starts the authentication process in which the username and password
are matched with the existing username and password in the database.
• If the password matches then it is allowed to the main page else it
warns the user for Invalid User name and password. After successful
authentication the system activates menus. The activity log also
prepared for failures and security.
17. TECHNOLOGY USED IN GYM MANAGEMENT SYSTEM PROJECT:-
• Bakery Management System Project in PHP is a web-based
application used to manage the Bakery. In this project, we used HTML ,
CSS , JAVASCRIPT , PHP and MySQL.

• MySQL is a relational database management system (RDBMS) based
on the SQL (Structured Query Language) queries. It is one of the most
popular languages for accessing and managing the records in the table.

• MySQL is easy to use. We have to get only the basic knowledge of SQL. We can
build and interact with MySQL by using only a few simple SQL statements . Protects
sensitive data from intruders. Also, passwords are encrypted in MySQL.

• MySQL consists of a solid data security layer that protects sensitive data from
intruders. Also, passwords are encrypted in MySQL.
• Speed:-
• MySQL is considered one of the very fast database languages, backed by a large
number of the benchmark test
19. • CONCLUSION
• The objective of this project was to build a program for maintaining
the details of all the members, employees and inventory .
• The system developed is able to meet all the basic requirements.
• The management of the records (both customer employees)will be
also benefited by the proposed system, as it will automate the whole
procedure, which will reduce the workload.
• The important thing is that the system should be flexible enough for
future modifications.
