 Many changes happened in the society and economy as
a result of the developments in the field of information
technology
 Online marketing refers to the use of the Internet and
digital media capabilities to help sell your products or
services
 Online marketing joins creative and technical aspects of
the Internet, including: design, development, advertising
and sales
 Online marketing objectives define what you want to
achieve through your e-marketing campaign
INTRODUCTION
 Online marketing refers to the use of the Internet and digital media
capabilities to help sell your products or services. These digital
technologies are a valuable addition to traditional marketing
approaches regardless of the size and type of your business. E-
marketing is also referred to as Internet marketing (i-marketing),
online marketing or web-marketing.
 Online marketing objectives define what you want to achieve through
your e-marketing campaign. They set the reasons why your business
wants to go online and allow you to estimate and monitor the
progress of your online marketing activities.They also provide an
incentive to focus on critical areas and formulate strategies to help
achieve intended objectives.
WHAT IS ONLINE MARKETING
 Online marketing is advertising and marketing the
products or services of a business over Internet. Online
marketing relies upon websites or emails to reach to the
users and it is combined with e-commerce to facilitate the
business transactions. In online marketing, you can
promote the products and services via websites, blogs,
email, social media, forums, and mobile Apps. Online
marketing is also termed as Internet marketing, Web
marketing, or simply, OLM
