In quest of Senior level assignments in HRD with an organization of repute
Over 18 years of experience of which 16 years with Hindustan Unilever Limited. Presently
working as Assistant Manager- HR at Nestle India Ltd., having strength of around 1500
employees (Permanents & Contractual) and taking care of Employee Relations,
Contractual Management, Statutory Compliances & IR.
Vast experience in the formulation and development of strategic business plans & handling various
HR processes (Manpower Planning, recruitment, selection, performance management and training &
development). Have ensured maintenance of amicable relations among management and workers
through introduction and administration of participative schemes and practices. An out-of-the-box
thinker with the distinction of having introduced and streamlined HR policies/practices successfully
with results like increase in employee productivity and generation of greater revenues for the
Nestle India Ltd., Nanjangud, Mysore Dist as Assistant Manager, HR Feb, 2011 onwards
Nestle is the global leader in (FMCG) Foods & Beverages having its Coffee & Culinary plant at
Nanjangud. The strength is around 650 permanent employees and around 900 numbers of
contractual workmen. The Noodle Unit has been set up during 2011 and is responsible for
contractual management, Recruitment, Statutory Compliances, ER & IR of the unit and taking care
of negotiations with the union.
The unit which started during 1988 had no union till 2011 and the union was started during March,
2011. The first settlement was signed during 2012 for a one year settlement and now during the
past 3 years has signed the settlement without any issues. Was able to motivate the union
members who were very new to union culture and the plant is functioning without any issues.
Since new unit was started, the contract labour management was a challenge and was able to
organize contract labours for the new plant and all the contractors follow the compliances in spirit
and the same was appreciated by the Labour Department.
Involved in employee engagement programs and is responsible to meet the employee engagement
calendar and also participate in the daily meeting of production department and also attend the
weekly and monthly department meeting of different departments. Responsible to ensure that the
different committee meetings are held on regular basis and the issues are sorted out.
Assist in manpower recruitment for both blue collar and white collar employees. Assist in trainings,
employee survey, safety management and initiated the monthly meeting with contractors wherein
the compliances, working conditions are streamlined and are in place.
I report to Sr. Manager HR and under me have 3 reportees who are in payroll and contractual
management who assist me in maintaining the cordial relation with both employees and contract
workmen and ensure there are no deviations.

□ Strategically planning for the development of human resources in the organization.

right from its inception.

Undertaken training in DuPont Safety & TPM ( Total Productive Maintenance)
Initiated TPM activities for the development of the Unit., especially in the area of Education &
Training (E & T Pillar).
Handled proven tool under JIPM, Japan for bringing effectiveness in work culture .
Played a lead role in Restructuring of Detergents Unit of HLL.
Paid adherence to PF, Employment Dept. Returns, Factories Dept. returns etc.
Entrusted with CSR Corporate Social responsibility – involved in educating the rural folk for awareness in
aids and other diseases, keeping their surrounding clean free from bacterias for good health, monthly
health check up with association of local health authorities and co., doctor, having quiz etc for the school
students hasbeen a part of my regular work.

The restructure of the Foods Division of Hindustan Unilever was done peacefully without any adverse
impact on the Company and its business and was able to transfer majority of the workmen and balance
was separated thru VRS scheme.
