▪ Faith in Gods were fading away from the Heart of the Sailors as they
wished to become careless about the others like the Gods do which
reflects theVictorian Crisis.
"In the hollow Lotos land to live and lie reclined
On the hills like Gods together, careless of mankind.“

▪ Argument against Industry reflects in the whole Poem and finally
ends in the Last Line:
“O, rest ye, brother mariners, we will not wander more.”

Arnold. He followed a Middle Ground.
