In St. Joseph, Missouri, police authorized 338 red-light running warnings
to be sent to vehicle owners during three weeks of camera testing ending in
February. Last year, officers handed out 260 citations in all of 2012.

We all must accept that T-bone collisions are more severe and dangerous. The decrease in these accidents
warrants the use of the cameras.
