1. Second we recorded in a corridor to see what the sound would be like in a more enclosed space.
Down the corridor there is metal and wood so we wanted to see how the sound would be effective
in this area compared to outside. The sound here was a bit louder than outside as some of it did
bounce back to the microphone to get picked up on the recording. In the corridor the sound was had
more of an echo because of the metal. So some sound was reflected and some was absorbed which
kept the sound in-between. When we recorded there wasn’t many people around us because we
was at the end of a corridor but there was a door banging at the start as we was recording the sound
which made the pitch sound higher for a bit. The sound here was a lot louder compared to outside.
There are a few wooden doors The high ceiling gave the sound
down the corridor which absorb and more places to travel but it all
deaden the sound so it won’t bounced back because of the solid
reflect. surface.
The radiator being metal did reflect
some sound back as we were near
it.
