How to be happy
1.
2. One night, I found myself so happy rather than other times of my life. And I
tried to find out the reason behind my real Happiness. How am I so happy
now? Can I stay happy like this forever? So many questions came to my mind.
Ultimately, I discovered the real factors behind my happiness.
What is Happiness? We are conscious about it but Are we really Happy always.
Why and Why not? Let us know the reason behind our Unhappiness and some
tips to be Happy forever.
There are many proverbs about Happiness. For example “Happiness Lies in
Contentment”. So, you are happy if you are satisfied with whatever you have.
And there are some reasons to be content in something. Tips are as follows:
3. You might think how expectation brings happiness for you. Yes you are right,
because expectation brings misfortunes for human beings. For example: You are
from a middle class family. But your best friend is from a rich family. If you just
want to lead your life style as him/her, it will bring misfortunes for you. Just think
about your family. Can they afford your expectation?
4. Positive thinking is one of the best qualities of human being. Whenever you are
able to think matters from positive point of view, you will find satisfaction there. I
don’t mean to be positive always accepting illegal things. Just use your power of
thinking to distinguish the differences between good and bad.
5. Smiling can make us feel better, but it’s more effective when we back it up with
positive thoughts, according to this study: A new study led by a Michigan State
University business scholar suggests customer-service workers who fake smile
throughout the day worsen their mood and withdraw from work, affecting
productivity. But workers who smile as a result of cultivating positive thoughts–such
as a tropical vacation or a child’s recital–improve their mood and withdraw less.
Of course it’s important to practice “real smiles” where you use your eye sockets.
(You’ve seen fake smiles that don’t reach the person’s eyes. Try it. Smile with just your
mouth. Then smile naturally; your eyes narrow. There’s a huge difference in a fake
smile and a genuine smile.)
According to PsyBlog, smiling can improve our attention and help us perform better on
intellectual tasks:
Smiling makes us feel good which also increases our attentional flexibility and our
ability to think holistically. When this idea was tested by Johnson et al. (2010), the
results showed that participants who smiled performed better on attentional tasks
which required seeing the whole forest rather than just the trees.
6. Smiling is one way to reduce the distress caused by an upsetting situation.
Psychologists call this the facial feedback hypothesis. Even forcing a smile when
we don’t feel like it is enough to lift our mood slightly (this is one example of
embodied cognition).
7. Most of the people find their work as Barden but they even do not think about
their happy moments. Because, they cannot love their work. In perspective of job
or work “Love it or Leave it”. Business helps you to stay away from narrow
thinking. Whenever you are idle, you will find yourself bored. So be busy and stay
Happy.
8. Traveling is also a major factor to make you Happy. Whenever you can spare your
busy time, Plan for a nice trip. I think, it will help you refresh your mind. A study
published in the journal Applied Research in Quality of Life showed that the
highest spike in happiness came during the planning stage of a vacation as people
enjoy the sense of anticipation: In the study, the effect of vacation anticipation
boosted happiness for eight weeks. After the vacation, happiness quickly dropped
back to baseline levels for most people.
