The term “Internet of Things (IoT) ” was first used in 1999 by
British technology pioneer Kevin Ashton.
Internet of Things
Kevin Ashton said “The Internet of Things has the potential to change the
world, just as the Internet did. Maybe even more so”.
IoT is a concept in which objects in the physical world could be connected to
the Internet by sensors. These objects can be people, animal and day to day
devices like refrigerator and coffee machine.
