 “This” is a word used for pointing thing which is near.
 Examples
 This is a cat – ye ek bili hai.
 This is a table – ye ek maiz hai.
 This is a problem – ye masla hai.
 This is interesting – ye mazaedar/dilchasm hai.
THAT
 “That” is a word used for pointing thing which is away.
 Examples
 That is a dog – wo ek kutta hai.
 That is a good bed – wo acha bistar hai.
 That is very colorful dress – wo rangbarangi dress hai.
 That is a perfect example – wo theek misaal hai.
THESE
 “These” is a word used for pointing things which are near.
 Examples
 These are nice headphones – ye ache headphone hain.
 These are correct answers – ye sahi jawab hain.
 These are dirty clothes – ye kapre maile hain.
 These are blue brushes – ye neele brushes hain.
THOSE
 “Those” is a word used for pointing things which are away.
 Examples
 Those are long trees – wo lambe darakht hain.
 Those are rough pages – wo rough pages hain.
 Those balls are red – wo laal gaind hain.
 Those memories are awesome – wo yaden mazedar hain.
TO BE SENTENCES - PRESENT
 To be sentences are sentences those show state of something/someone.
 Examples
 I am a boy – mein ek larka hun.
 We are all cricket players – hum sb cricket ke players hain.
 You are a nice person – tum ek bhale admi ho.
 They are students of class matric – wo matric class ke shagrid hain .
 He is 26 – wo 26 saal ka hai.
 She is a doctor – wo ek doctor hai.
 It is a black dress – ye ek kaali dress hai (it is used for animal, non-living thing)
TO BE SENTENCES - PAST
 To be sentences are sentences those show state of something/someone.
 Examples
 I was there in my room– mein apne kamre me tha.
 We were ready for running – hum running ke lye tyar the.
 You were stuck in a problem – tum ek musibat me phase hwe the.
 They were lazy kids but now they are not – wo bache sust hwa karte the lekin ab nhn hain.
 He was absent – wo gair-hazir tha.
 She was an intelligent girl – wo ek hushar larki thi/wo ek hushar larki hwa karti thi.
 It was a good day - ye ek acha din tha.
TO BE SENTENCES - FUTURE
 To be sentences are sentences those show state of something/someone.
 Examples
 I will be there at station at sharp 9 O’Clock – me theek 9 bje station pe honga.
 We will be fine – hum theek ho jayen ge.
 You will be my support – ap meri support ho ge.
 They will be ready in just 5 min – wo bs 5 min me tayar ho jayen ge.
 He will be 27 in coming year – wo ane wale saal 27 saal ka ho jayega.
 She will be here after a class – wo class k bad idhr hogi.
 It will be a wonderful meeting– ye ek lajawab mulaqat hogi
VOCAB
 Encourage – hosla afzai krna (my partner always encourages me to improve)
 Fasten – bandhna (please fasten your seat belt)
 Chant – dil se zikr krna (I love to chant names of God)
 Claim – dawa karna (he claims that it will rain today)
 Emphasize – kisi per zor dalna kuch karne k lye (I don’t emphasize my students to study hard)
HOME WORK
 Make four sentences with meaning using each following words.
 This, that, these, those
 Make to-be sentences on each subject with present, past and future tense
 Make one sentence on each vocab word.

TO BE SENTENCES - PRESENT  To be sentences are sentences those show state of something/someone.  Examples  I am a boy – mein ek larka hun.  We are all cricket players – hum sb cricket ke players hain.  You are a nice person – tum ek bhale admi ho.  They are students of class matric – wo matric class ke shagrid hain .  He is 26 – wo 26 saal ka hai.  She is a doctor – wo ek doctor hai.  It is a black dress – ye ek kaali dress hai (it is used for animal, non-living thing)
