2. Introduction
The increasing pace of change is rapidly driving
customer, businesses and technology firms in a
tight embrace, with the convergence of
disruptive technologies eroding the boundaries
separating them. Businesses are becoming
more and more agile, and technologies such as
social media, mobility, analytics and cloud
computing are coming together to unleash
unlimited opportunities for everyone involved.
This convergence – also known as SMAC – will
be the leading disruptor to the business-
technology ecosystem over the next few years.

3. Social media
A social media strategy has become a must for
all enterprises, be it banks, retailers or the
government.
Mobility
Mobile devices have changed the way people
access digital content.
Analytics
Every year, companies and individuals generate
billions of gigabytes of data.
Cloud computing
The undeniable power of cloud computing to
foster innovations and improve productivity is
now accepted by both IT vendors and their
customers.

4. Trends
 The trend of increasing social media,
mobile devices and cloud computing
based technologies are supposed to
capture the whole market in the coming
future.
 The increasing number of people on
social sites demonstrates the increase in
the liking of social media.

5.  It is supposed that in the coming future more
and more population will tend to use the
mobile technologies over other technologies.
 It can also be seen that firms and big
companies are preferring cloud computing
technology over other technology because
of its centralized system of data storage and
security.
 It can be seen that these technologies will be
capturing the whole of the market in the
coming five years and will become billion
dollar technology, specially the cloud
computing technology.

6. Interest Areas
 My interest area in the given topic is
mobility and cloud computing.
 If given an internship in this area, I will
intend to work on cloud computing and
some parts of mobility.
