1. OVERVIEW
With the UN general Assembly adopting the
2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, the
international spotlight is now on sustainable
aspects of national developments towards
17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169
according targets
Countries' performance will be evaluated and
annual progress will be reported in the annual
SDG Progress Report.
State of Sustainability: UAE 2016, is a report
that can be used as a tool to engage, analyze and
communicate with the required stakeholders that
complements and supports the official reporting
requirement.
State of Sustainability: UAE, as a series of
publications, is expected to grow into a ubiquitous
platform to publish progress, solutions and
success stories on sustainable economic, social
and environmental development in the United
Arab Emirates, and also the UAE's contribution
towards achieving the SDGs in other countries.

SUSTAINABILITY:

REPORT STRUCTURE
Dubai Carbon, in partnership with Ministry of International
Cooperation & Development (MICAD), the UAE Ministry of
Foreign Affairs (MoFA), and the Federal Competitiveness &
Statistics Authority (FCSA) has produced & managed the State of
Sustainability report.
The UAE Water Aid Foundation (SUQIA), is the principal sponsor of
this issue.
The report will be launched during the World Government Summit.
