MARLON S. JALA PhD
School Principal, Bilar National High School

understanding of the various
techniques involved in crafting
effective and engaging qualitative
research titles.
2. Write a create clear, concise,
compelling, and catchy research
title based on Creswell’s
qualitative research designs.
3. Foster a positive mindset and
confidence in writing qualitative

projects.
Tips for
Writing
Qualitative
Research

1. Be clear and concise. The title should
accurately reflect the main problem of the
study and the sub-problems that will be
explored.
2. Use keywords that will be easily found by
researchers. When writing the title, consider
the keywords that researchers are likely to
use when searching for studies on your

3. Use active voice. The title should be written
in active voice, rather than passive voice.
4. Avoid jargon. The title should be written in
plain language that is understandable to a
general audience.
Tips for
Writing

abbreviations. The title should be
written in full, rather than using
acronyms or abbreviations.
• Avoid superlatives. The title should
not contain superlatives, such as
