2. “It's still snowing, and no doubt the garden will be dormant still today. But
the pipes to the outhouse are still running. I don't know what's wrong.
It works perfectly, but it just won't stop leaking, and I don't even have
the option of repairing, let alone replacing it. I'll just deal with it, though,
until the curse is up. When I'm an adult, I'll have a proper home, with
proper plumbing! And I'll sell this little underground bunker. Perhaps
some other runaway will want it.”
3. “And a snowy day and dormant garden mean I have nothing to do but
work on more sculptures. Oh, a hamper! Great! Now all I need is to
sculpt a fully-functioning washing machine. I think I'll stick this in my
inventory for now, but when I have a house, every room will have a clay
hamper.”
4. “A sink! A working sink! Clay pipes and a clay basin and a clay cabinet
and clay faucets. All clay, and all functional! I LOVE IT! I'll have one in
every room, right next to the clay hamper. Well, maybe not every
room, but in every bathroom and the kitchen, too. I wonder if I can
sculpt matching cabinets?”
5. “A bistro table! I love it! Well, tomorrow, I'm definitely going to the elixir
store. Today has certainly been productive!”
6. “I knew I'd find a use for all the scrap metal I found at Junkland. Here it
is. I'm going to make some sort of a sculpture out of metal!”
8. “Oh! But it is! Who knew having lumps and ridges in just the right places
could feel sooo good? It's worth +15 comfort moodlet, just like that clay
dining chair. And as a sculpture, it is art that will appreciate in value.
Yes, I'll be making more of these, as well. Maybe I could make a
matching metal bistro table, now that I know how to make it in clay?”
9. “But never mind that for now. It's spring, my garden needs tending, and I
am lonely. Again. You know what? I am all set for money. I think I'll
check out the spring festival this afternoon. Surely a child or teen will
stop by, and I can socialize there. Maybe they'll have an egg hunt! I
love egg hunts!”
10. “Ugh. It's early afternoon and I'm tired. My sleep schedule got all
messed up. I need more invigorating elixir. So, my first stop will be the
elixir store. I'll sell a few sculptures, and see what potions they have.
Then I'll hit the festival! Yay!”
11. Kyle: Well, if it isn't my most profitable customer! Welcome back! I hope
you have more good stuff for me.
“Just some sculptures today.”
Kyle: Not a problem. Hey, don't forget to check out the consignment
store. I heard rumors of a time machine on sale!
12. “Awwww, no time machine. I sort of hoped I could go back in time and
prevent... Wait. If I do that, I wouldn't be here, and then there'd be a
time paradox, and I might just poof myself out of existence! Better not.
Oh, but there are a lot of nectars for my nectar rack, and a rainbow
gem! Sweet!”
13. “Gem hearts for consignment, coming up! It's a nasty thunderstorm
outside right now, anyway. But you know what? I might just go to
dinner at the bistro. BECAUSE I CAN!”
14. Kyle: A rainbow heart?! WOW! And thank you for bringing me your
business.
15. “That was a great meal! Now I just need to stop off at Mina's house on
the way home for a quick social boost, then take an elixir before bed to
earn some surprise skills when I wake up! Woot!”
16. “Hiya, Gator! Is Mina in?”
Gator: She is, but she's not available right now. It's late, you know?
“Oh, well, thanks anyway. At least chatting a little bit with you has taken
me out of my desolation.”
17. “Gator was right! I barely made it home in time, and I have a scooter.
Ah, remember the old days, when I had to run everywhere? Well, I'm
exhausted, but this will at least get me back on a regular daytime
schedule. Tomorrow, I can try that festival. Maybe the rain storm will
be gone by then.”
18. “Ick. It tastes awful, but there's no arguing with the results. One vial of
potent enlightenment, and a good night's sleep. In my trusty, cozy
sleeping bag.
“Oh, who am I kidding? I want a real bed! I'll take it with me when I
move, but for now, a REAL bed!”
20. A/N: Social Networking. Well, it's useless while she can't have a phone,
and at this point, building up three rooms, just so she can have a room
is silly. She'll take her best furniture with her, and sell the lot. But it will
be useful in less than one week. WOOH!
21. “That outhouse is one thing I will NOT take with me when I move. It's
being sold, along with the rest of the lot – whatever is still alive in my
garden, my fence, my mailbox and trash can. I think I'll take the rest
with me. Just not this ridiculously leaky outhouse.”
22. “You know what? Forget it. I don't need these anymore. I took care of
that dang ginseng plant since mid-summer, and now it's gone barren,
and I did not get a SINGLE harvest from that thing! Forget these! I'm
just gonna rip them all out. There's no point to them, now. My fridge is
still plenty full, and I want the free time to do other things. Like the
spring festival!”
23. “Or a performance fest. I saw the ad in the paper. I've never been to one
of these, but it looks like a lot of fun. The spring festival will be there for
days, but this sort of thing only happens now and then.”
24. “That is cool! I wanna do that! No, seriously! When I'm an adult, and
free of this curse, and don't have to hide anymore, I'll be able to have a
career. Yeah, I don't really want a 9 to 5, report to 'The Man,' type of
job, but a career in show business looks AWESOME!”
25. “I will be the best acrobat Moonlight Falls has ever seen!”
A/N: I have tried the magic, but never made it all the way through, and
never tried acrobat, so now is a good time to try, right? When the teen
challenge is done.
26. “Wow. Really original costume, there. Ladies! At least change colors!
How about some pink?!”
27. “Ummm... It's raining, so I guess we don't have to extinguish her? Wow.
I'm still longing to do this when I grow up, but I'm also longing for some
companionship. I'm going to go find a young person to talk to, before I
find myself chatting up Grim Reaper. He's a great guy, but I'm not
ready to talk to him again, yet.”
28. “Still lonely, but at least I'm finding eggs. This rain is keeping many
people inside. Well, if all else fails, I have a single vial of bliss from the
elixir shop.”
29. “All these eggs, and they're MINE! All mine! Because literally no one
else is looking for them. Where IS everybody? Stupid rain, keeping
people inside. I'll come back tomorrow. Take some pictures, maybe.
Yeesh.”
30. “A vial of bliss boosts my fun and social by a quarter, each. I have got to
get more of these. They are amazing!”
31. “Someday, I'm going to have someone to do my cooking for me. A
housemate who cooks and cleans and keeps me company. Hmm,
maybe a robot. Why not? Why not have a robot who can live with my
family, guarding over them, through the generations. A robot who can
learn how to fight off dangerous wizards and monsters and keep my
children and grandchildren and all the great-grandchildren safe!
FOREVER! No more curses!”
32. “Break on ME will you? I'll fix you! And if I fix you properly this time, so
you actually stop leaking, then maybe I'll bring you with me to my new
house. You'd like that, wouldn't you, outhouse? Nobody wants to be
alone and abandoned, do they? So, you STOP LEAKING!”
33. “Resign yourself to a life of misery and loneliness, Mr. Outhouse. You're
staying with the lot when I sell it. You, the fence, the mailbox and the
trash can. Oh, and Miss Ladder, too, I suppose. Perhaps someone will
want you. Perhaps not. It won't be my concern, anymore. Just a few
more days, and I'll never have to use you again.”
34. “I actually haven't been that productive, lately, and I don't have anything
to sell. I'm here to buy. More nectars would be nice, and if you have
that time machine, I won't use it to create a time paradox, but it would
be interesting to visit other times. What do you have?”
Bailey: Just some paintings, some nectar, some music boxes, and a lot
of books.
35. “Got any more of those awesome elixirs? I'm here to buy. Well, and sell
one jade heart. But otherwise, I'm buying.”
36. “I'm lonely! Be my friend! In fact, be my best friend, and possibly
boyfriend!”
Zack: Aaaah! Why did Ah choose th' lixir shop ta do ma homework? Ah
should've gone ta th' lahberry, lahk normal people. Now Ah'm bein'
approached by a gurl!
“Geez, Louise! What is WITH the boys in this town?!”
37. Zack: Uh, hey! Ye'r cute. An' Ah actually lahk you. Ummm, do you
actually lahk me?
“Duh! Of course I do. Now, don't be a drama king like Joe, and be my
boyfriend! I'll even let you show me off to all the fellows, provided I
don't need a phone to make the arrangements.”
Zack: Really?! WOW! A real gurlfrien'! Joe will eat his heart out!
38. “OK, so I'm gonna grow up in less than a week, and once my family's
curse is lifted, I'm going to need a husband, so I can start my legacy
properly. Do you want to be a founder spouse? It comes with all sorts
of perks, like a Watcher who will do all she can to make you happy,
successful, and fulfill your lifetime wish.”
Zack: Wooooow. That sounds awesome.
39. Zack: But, ain't founders poor? Ah don't wanna be poor.
“That's the beauty of it! I've already made my fortune. We'll have a good
house, and I know how to bring in lots of money. You'll be well off,
with a new hairstyle and clothes in your favorite color, provided it is not
lime, because it really doesn't go well with my favorite color pink, and
as the founder, my preferences do take priority. But I'll get us a robot,
and let you name him!”
40. “Alright, then, Zack! It's a deal! Consider us handfasted.”
Zack: D'awww! Ah'm so happy!
“And our signs are compatible. I'm sure we'll be happy with each other.
And if all else fails? Elixirs, to the rescue!”
Zack: Sure! That ain't cheatin'!
41. “Now, let's make this official! You are MY boyfriend, and I am YOUR
girlfriend, and as soon as we're both grown up, we'll be husband and
wife! But, you're gonna take my name, right? Because I'm not taking
yours.”
Zack: Ah hate the name Durwood. It sounds lahk sumpin' outta an ol'
TV show. Kinda lahk an insult. Ah'll take yer name, fer sure!
42. Kyle: Not looking. Just keeping my eye on the cash register.
A/N: He gave them the best side-eye, and then just slowly turned his
face forward after I had paused the game! I didn't know they could do
that!
43. “Well, my social is all maxed, and I have four wishes clogging up my
panel. I'm gonna go home and see about getting them cleared out
before I grow up, so I can get some more appropriate wants for our
wedding. But I'll come to your house and see you again, soon, Lover
Boy!”
Zack: Ah'll be waitin'!
44. “The more happiness points I have, the more I can spoil my family with
cool stuff! Every legacy needs its household supply of cool stuff that
you just can't buy.”
45. “Oh, no! The whole stone just shattered! It may be the most valuable
material, but it's also fragile. Well, I'll keep going. I need to get these
wishes cleared.”
47. “It's Spring Fling, and I probably should go to Zack's house and invite him
on a date to the festival, but these wishes aren't going to fulfill
themselves. Three of them are about sculpting, and one is for
photography. I'll put that one on the back burner, for now. And Zack,
too, but not for too long. I think I'm a bit older than him, but he'll catch
up quickly enough once the curse is lifted and teenhood goes back to
its normal length.”
48. “Forget photography! I rolled a wish to max sculpting, and I'm only one
point away. That lower-grade photography skill wish is going out to
make way for it. But maybe I'll roll it again, when I'm back in the saddle
with my camera. For now, I just want the most happiness points I can
get, as soon as possible, and that means sculpting, all the way!”
49. “It's a Medusa Victim, and worth a bundle! Zack will be pleased. I've
already dipped below $50,000, and I need to build my bank account
back up before the wedding.”
50. “I'm going back to clay, though, for now. It's much faster and less
expensive, and since I'm trying to discover all the different sculptures I
can make, clay is a better option. But I'll do stone again, someday.
Perhaps I'll save that stone Medusa Victim, after all, just to adorn our
future house.”
51. “Amazing! I actually managed to get a mercury ingot! Normally, when
mercury is sent off to be smelted, it comes back as a liquid, in a test
tube on a stand, but this time, I got a solid ingot. It's brighter than gold,
and very valuable. But there is no way I'm going to sell that rarity!”
52. “Oh! I made a display pedestal. How perfect to display my mercury
ingot. And what good timing it was, too.
“Now, I'm off to the elixir store, to see if they have any more of the skill
boosters or energizers. At least I don't need the vial of bliss, because
this afternoon, I'm going to Zack's house and inviting him on a date to
the festival.”
53. Annalove: Why, I haven't seen you here since the fall! How can I help
you? I didn't see you digging in the dumpsters today.
“Actually, I'm here to buy. Do you have any good gems or metals?”
Annalove: A few. I'm glad I have your business again, hon. Seems
you've done real well for yourself.
54. Annalove: Well, I hope you're interested in what I have today:
Supernovium!
“Holy hand grenades! You betcha! I'll get that smelted overnight, and
sell it for a massive profit tomorrow! Who knows? I might get lucky
and get an extra ingot.”
55. Bailey: Buying or selling?
“Both. I have this stone sculpture. I was considering keeping it, but
decided to sell it, after all. And I'll take all the nectar and novels you
have.”
56. Kyle: Back for more, eh? Any gems for me today?
“No, but I have a couple of gold ingots. I'll have more metal for you
tomorrow, though, after I have it smelted. I think you'll be happy. In the
meantime, you know the drill: Give me all your skill, mood, and energy
boosters, and some ingredients, while you're at it.”
57. “There you are, Zack! I wanted to ask you to go to the festival with me.
Or would you rather hang out here at the art studio? It is pretty cool
here. Hey, look at that glassware. Wouldn't you like to learn how to
make that, someday?”
Zack: Slow down, honey. Ye'r talkin' faster than Ah can follow. How
'bout you give me some sugar, and then we can sit an' chat for a
whahl?
59. “This festival is great! But you know what else is great? You are!”
Zack: Awww, shucks!
A/N: I don't know what it is about them, but I just adore these two as a
couple. There may be other options out there for her, but I simply have
no interest in trying them. I think Zack is adorable, and I want him as
my founder's spouse.
60. “That was a fun date, but not long enough. It took me too long to find him
around town. Well, when we're married, we'll have plenty of time
together. I'll just have to look forward to that. He's so sweet! He told
me he wants to be a witch, like his mother, so it's a good thing I have a
potion for that. What a wedding present that will be for him!”
61. “This is it. This is my last day as a teen. Tomorrow, I'll become a young
adult, and find out if the curse is lifted, or if I'll quickly age and die. It
just hit me how big that is! But I just have one more day to survive
under the circumstances Grimmy set for me. Should I splurge at the
festival, or should I do more sculpting, and try to clear those last two
wishes?”
62. “I can hear the thunder up top. And I rolled a third sculpture wish, so
sculpting it is. I don't have to worry about being lonely today, and
tomorrow, I'll move to a new home, and get a phone, so that won't be a
problem then. I wonder if I'll see Grimmy, or if I just have to figure
things out, for myself? Well, time will tell, I guess.”
63. “I want to max sculpting skill, make a brilliant sculpture and a
masterpiece sculpture, so clay will be the medium of choice, since it's
the fastest to complete. And I'll just sculpt until I can't sculpt no more,
or until I fulfill those three wishes!”
64. “A unicorn! Very pretty. Not brilliant or a masterpiece, though, so it will
be sold on consignment.”
66. “I don't want to sleep tonight. I'd hate to wake up old and dead. I'll stay
awake until the curse is either fully lifted, or takes effect.”
67. “Besides, I have more sculpting to do. I need to create a masterpiece
and master the skill, as well.”
68. “My first masterpiece! I think I'll keep this one on display, alongside my
first sculpture. They can be sort of bookends to my skill. Although, I
haven't quite maxed it out, yet. I'll keep working, until morning.”
69. “It's 5:30 in the morning, and I have survived! The year of being a teen is
over! I'm going up top to watch the sunrise.”
71. Grim Reaper: HELLO, CALLIPYGIA. CONGRATULATIONS ON SURVIVING THE
FULL YEAR, WITHOUT BEING CAUGHT.
“Grimmy? I can hear you, but I can't see you. Where are you?”
Grim Reaper: I AM VERY SMALL. I HAD TO BE SUMMONED WITH A DEATH, AND
SINCE YOU STEPPED ON A BUG, THAT HAD TO DO. I AM JUST IN FRONT OF
YOU. DO NOT MOVE, PLEASE.
72. “You had to be summoned with a death? But not MY death?”
Grim Reaper: NO. I WAS SUCCESSFUL IN MY PART OF OUR PLAN. THE
CURSE HAS BEEN BROKEN. YOU WILL NOW AGE NORMALLY, AS WILL ALL THE
TEENS IN THE WORLD. I AM GLAD. I DO NOT LIKE REAPING THINGS OUT OF
THEIR PROPER ORDER.
“HOOORAAAAYYY! YAHOOO! I'M ALIVE! And I'm going to STAY
THAT WAY! YEEEEESSSSS!”
74. “Wow! I feel so different. I mean, I feel fine, physically, but I don't feel
good.”
75. “I feel EVIL!”
A/N: Wow. Did not see that coming. Well, she did fail school, after all,
so she was assigned a negative trait. This is going to be interesting.
She might decide to be a criminal, after all, just for the fun of it.
Anyway, that's the end of the Runaway Teen Challenge. See you next
time, for the beginning of the Bottoms Up Legacy. Happy Simming!
