Greater St. Louis Hispanic Festival at Soulard Market Park (Fri. Sept. 22-
Sun. Sept. 24. Times: Fri. & Sat. 10 am-10 pm, Sun. 11 am-8 pm) — Soulard, St. Louis’
French heritage district, goes Latino at the largest Hispanic celebration in St. Louis.
Featuring 70 food and craft; salsa and bachata lessons; live bands and traditional folk-
loric dancers; and foods and beverages from Mexico, Dominican Republic, Argentina,

Moonlight Ramble in Downtown St. Louis (Fri. Sept. 23-Sat. Sept. 24;
11:45 pm-3 am) — The Moonlight Ramble is the longest running nighttime bike ride in
the U.S., and a great source of pride for St. Louis. The ride that began with one rider
has grown into an annual tradition with thousands of riders taking to the streets of St.

The 7th Annual Oktoberfest at Urban Chestnut Midtown Brewing Company on Washington
Ave. (Fri. Sept. 22-Sun. Sept 24. Times: Fri. 12-11 pm; Sat. 11 am-11 pm; Sun. 12-7 pm) — The traditional
Oktoberfest experience starts with bier. UCBC’s OktoberFestbier/Märzen (Oachkatzlschwoaf) will be available in
half-liter and liter pours at the fest, as well as German fare such as pretzels, brats, currywurst, and frikadellen.

Strange Folk Festival at Carondelet Park (Fri. Sept. 22-Sun. Sept. 24. Times: Fri. 3-7 pm; Sat. 10 am-7
pm; & Sun. 10 am-7 pm) — One of the most popular indie show’s for the past 10 years, the festival has moved
from Lafayette Park to Carondelet Park with the new location offering plenty of room for its 200 artists and craft-

Creepyworld Haunted House in Fenton (Fri. Sept. 22 & Sat. Sept. 23; 7:30-11 pm) — Creepyworld
Haunted House Scream park features 13 major haunted attractions including the new haunted hayride and

St. Louis Renaissance Festival at Rotary Park in Wentzville (Sat. Sept. 23 & Sun. Sept. 24;

This weekend’s theme is a “High Seas Adventure,” featuring “Talk Like a Pirate,” and “Pirate Costume” contests;
