INTRODUCTION
Description:
SocialMeds is derived from two words “Social” which represents social media and “Medicine”. The logo
shows three characters with a pulse line cutting through them. We analyze a company‟s social media
presence and performance, listen to their goals and direction intended then draw up a proposal which acts
similar to a medical prescription but for social media. We are the doctors of social media. As a Kenyan
based services firm, we offer professional Social Media Services to assist your Company/Entity to get the
most out of the SM (Social Media) space. We are on Facebook as “SocialMeds East Africa” and
Twitter/Instagram as: “@SocialMedsEA”.
SocialMeds is currently a team of 10 dedicated young men and women with Samuel Kung‟u and Michael
Mutooni as Managing Partners.
What we do:
• Create new social media accounts (FB, Twitter, Instagram) if they were non-existent or
• Take over existing Social Media platforms
• Manage your content based on your values, goals and campaign strategy
• Monitor customer feedback
• Answer customer queries
• Help your business maintain its current clients and
• Attract new business due to constant client engagement via social media
Our intended overall effect is to:
• Build customer loyalty by constant engagement
• Increase chances of repeat purchases/sales to the same customers
• Increase likelihood of referrals to your business/entity
In addition to the above, our relatively large team allows us to be able to:
• Live-tweet at an event
• Drive a product or a hashtag online through our numerous personal profiles
• Push trends on twitter for clients at a fee (dependent on time and duration of trend)
• Live advertising at events: this involves having 3 or more of our team members wearing branded
T-shirts showing audience at a live event the hashtag of the day (to increase interactions)
• Team-management of client profiles: we are able to assign a team of two or more people to a
client‟s social media platforms to ensure maximum service delivery
1. Trends Research & Analysis
A key part of our work revolves around our ability to future forecast and monitor the
socio-cultural barometer. What are the trends now and in the future that will effect or
could enhance your brand?
Our approach is founded in ethnography, which ensures we deliver insightful
information and consumer profiling that stems from genuine understanding and insider-
knowledge coupled with real-time facts and data.
2. Digital Brand Identity & Online Campaigns
We work with clients throughout their brand planning stages, to co-develop a clear
strategic marketing plan for their brands ensuring all our activity can work online as well
as off, as standard. Digital activation is a key part of all the activity we create and
implement.
We are able to work with third-party agency partners and via our own in-house digital
team, to give our clients and the campaigns the maximum reach and impact in the
digital arena.
3. Audio& visual services
Audio and visual evaluation is highly valuable and can be used across a variety of
platforms from internal use and best-practice activity showcasing, to digital realization,
publicity and broadcast purposes.
We take the responsibility of creating the digital concept, plan and content required -
part Brand Planning, part Creative Services and total Brand Guardianship very seriously.
4. Events
We don‟t do common „events‟; we curate luxury brand experiences. Desirable,
interactive, always with a purpose, our experiential activity is designed to deliver
emotional connections with the brand, with impressive results.
In an age where there is a high frequency of events it is essential for brands to deliver
memorable and impactful brand experiences that have emotional connections with
consumers.
It is imperative that the experience must be indicative of a brand‟s prestige positioning
and brand credentials.
5. Social media strategy
The link between you and your customers is defined by your social media strategy. We
help create a social media presence that is useful to the customer in order to become
a utility and to reap the reward.
This is done by adding significance (the quality of being worthy of attention) by
standing out to those who are compelled to respond.
In this instance usefulness is quantified by the ability to provide definite value (answer
consumer question), entertain and make waves using social media.
We also setup a method of measuring the usefulness of your social media presence by
tracking online pages and conversations which allows us to implement strategic

7. Blogging and Managerial Services
Social Meds East Africa has a number of campaigns both in collaboration with our corporate sponsors and
internal projects led by the bloggers and the management team.
Blogging has many sources of revenue. We have divided this into short term or immediate projects and
long term projects.
Other revenue sources will arise as we develop the Blog page however at this stage we shall concentrate on
the following aspects:
Short term
• Advertising (selling advert space on your blog page and cooperate affiliate marketing)
• Obtaining blog sponsors
• Selling of affiliate product store
• Collaboration campaigns with other photographers, blogs, designers, artists etc.
Long term
• Publishing deal (book or magazine)
• Brand ambassadorship
• High profile appearances at festivals, seminars etc

No graphic or web design skills are required to run your blog. As long as you are familiar with Microsoft
Word our content management system is very easy to use and edit.
