Hello, I am Ann Rolfe, the e-Mentoring Program facilitator. This presentation introduces the e-Mentoring Program and how you can nominate to participate in this exciting new pilot program being run by the Public Sector Workforce Office in the NSW Department of Premier and Cabinet. The purpose of the e-Mentoring Program is to enable women who are building their careers, or seeking to move to the next level, with the benefit of having a mentor to provide support, ideas and feedback. The e-Mentoring Program is specifically designed to provide access to mentors for women whose work situation means that a mainly face-to-face relationship would be impractical. This includes women working in regional and rural NSW or in non traditional areas in roles where there is less opportunity to meet face-to-face with mentors who can provide encouragement and advice - and with mentors who understand the particular context of working in the NSW public sector.
