Slack is a well accepted app to manage communication with teams. This tutorial will get you up and running on how to use Slack to better manage your worldwide team.

1. Slack images were downloaded from the official Slack website.

2. Slack is a new messaging App for
TEAMS.

3. Lets sign-up and find out what
makes Slack unique.

4. Open your browser.

5. Press Enter and the Slack page is
shown.

6. Click “Create a new team”.

7. Enter your email address.

8. Click “Create a new team”.

9. This appears and asks you to check your
email.

10. Open your email and look for the
confirmation code mail.

11. This is your code.

12. Type-in your confirmation code.

13. Press enter and this page appears.

14. Key-in Your Name

15. Key-in your Username

16. Click Continue to Password

17. This page appears.

18. Set your Password.

19. You can opt to change password if it is
“Weak”

20. Click “Continue to Team Info”

21. This page appears.

22. Click here to select an option.

23. Drop down menu appears.

24. As an example, Select “Work”

25. Click here to select a kind of company.

26. As an example, I selected “Media”

27. To select How big is your company.
Click here.

28. As an example, I selected
“1-10 people”.

29. Click “Continue to Company Name”

35. Type your desired domain name here.

36. You may be requested to change it in
case the name is taken.

37. Click “Create Team”

38. Review the Terms and click “I Agree”

40. Type an email address to send an
invitation.

43. You can “talk” to “slackbot”

44. By typing a message here.

45. “Channels” helps you organize your
team.

46. “Channels” can be a sub-team or group,
topic or a project

and #random

48. You can send direct messages to a
person or a group.

49. Slack will ask your permission to enable
notifications.

50. Just click “enable notifications”

51. Your Windows system might ask you to
Allow or Block.

52. Click “Allow” to receive notifications.
