3. Defining Bullying
Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among
school aged children that involves a real or perceived
power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the
potential to be repeated, over time.
Bullying can involve overt, physical, verbal, emotional,
or social behaviors
Exclusion, Defamation, Destruction of Property

5. What is Social Emotional Learning
S.E.L is a process for learning life skills, including how
to deal with oneself, others, relationships and work in
an effective manner.
S.E.L helps in recognizing our emotions and helps us
learn how to manage those feelings.
In dealing with others S.E.L helps with developing,
sympathy and empathy for others, and maintaining
positive relationships.
S.E.L focuses on dealing with a variety of situations in
a constructive and ethical manner.

Learning
According to CASEL (Collaborative for Academic,
Social and Emotional Learning) the KEY findings
linking social and emotional learning include;

Decreased behaviors that interfere with learning
Decreased conduct problems and emotional distress.

Disorder and Autism are more likely to be bullied by peers
