Taking a photo with Photobooth, the artist imported the image into Photoshop to create a composite portrait. They used selection tools like the Lasso and Pipette to isolate sections of hair, filling each with the appropriate color sampled from the original photo. Additional layers were made for other features, with the paintbrush tool used to add details like eyes, nose, mouth, and highlights. The process involved sectioning and coloring parts of the image individually on separate layers to achieve a realistic composite portrait.
