LOOKING

2. I. KEEP LOOKING
The way to remain fixed in the love of God, is by looking for His
mercy.
 When we sin – and we do sin
 When we love the world more than we love God – and it
happens
 When trials happen in life and we wonder where God is
The thing that will get you through those times is to keep looking
for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ.

3. II. OUR LORD
I believe it would be appropriate for us to
acknowledge the possessive in the text.
There is mercy for those who possess the Lord
Jesus Christ as their Lord.
There is no mercy with God if He is not your
Lord.

4. III. ETERNAL LIFE
Christianity is the fulfillment of God’s promise to,
 Remove the sin of the world
 Reconcile sinful men to Himself and
 Restore what was lost in the Garden of Eden
To practice any sort of Christian faith outside of that
promise is an error, a heresy, and it will lead to
disappointment.
