Webster’s 1828 defines it first, “The
present time....”
Salvation, by the very definition of the
word, HAPPENS.

3. II. EVER
The definition of ever is, “for ever, an unbroken age,
perpetuity of time, eternity”
Paul thought that, if Christianity was not about heaven,
then Christianity would be a miserable way to live.
Knowing this causes me to make sometimes
uncomfortable choices now, so I might have joy when I
stand before God then.
