3. 2. Subject Line
This is used to immediately inform the reader
what the letter is about.
Example:

4. 3. Enclosure Notation
This is a reminder that there is an attachment.
Example:

Enclosure: Check
5. 4. CC Notation (Carbon Copy Notation)
It shows that other copies of the letter are being
sent to one or more persons other than addressee.
Examples:
JR Enclosure: Check

Cc: Office of the Principal Cc: Office of the Principal
6. 5. BCC Notation ( Blind Carbon Copy)
This is used if the writer does not want the
reader to know that he is sending a copy of the letter
to another person.
7. 6. Post Script
This part emphasizes the point made in the
letter. This is typed two spaces below the last line of the
letter.

8. 7. Mailing Notation
A note indicating the special postal service such
as āregistered or certified,ā should be indicated on all
copies of letter.
16. 1. Open Punctuation. This uses no punctuation.
2. Standard Punctuation. The salutation and the
complimentary close are followed by a punctuation
mark.
3. Closed Punctuation. Punsctuation marks appear at
the end of every line except the message.
