Dear Plant Diary,
I planted the seed today. I wanted
to make sure that it was perfect. I
got a big pot and put a good
amount of soil in it. I also put the
three crystals I was told to do. As I
placed them in I made my wish three
times. “I wish that I could be allowed
another pet.” I picked a pretty
colored one and then set it near my
window sill of my dorm. Since they
need full sun I asked my dorm
members to make sure that they
didn’t close the curtain.

Dear Plant Diary,
Today is five days since I planted the
dandelion. I saw buds of the first leaves.
I thought it was soon but with careful
watering and making sure to do
exactly what I learned in Herbology in
week one I am taking care of it the
best I can. It was so cute. I never liked
Dandelions when I was growing up. But
now I like them its strange to me of why.
But I think I am doing good, I just hope
my professors like it when I am finished
with it.

Dear Plant Diary,
Ah I am so psyched, I see the first
flower come in that tiny little bulb
thing. This is so much fun. I wasn’t
good at Herbology last year but I
seem to be doing pretty good this
year. It looks really cool. I found a
picture to attach since I suck at
drawing to show my beautiful, little
dandelion that’s growing.

Dear Plant Diary,
I can’t believe after taking care of it
so much that it is growing so fast. No
wonder fields get filled quickly. It
grows pretty quickly and it just needs
water and sunlight. I think I might try to
see what I can do with it to help a
person that is sick. I wonder if I need to
bring it to a potioneer. My flower has
been opening to the stages of turning
yellow. This drawing I found online
shows the past few days of it opening.
I have been so happy watching it
grow.

Dear Plant Diary,
I am very sad, my plant opened
and turned to seed today. It went
quick the three weeks it took
growing it. I started later then I
should have but I wanted to work
hard on decorating the pot and in
between classes time slipped from
my fingers. I will always remember
my little flower. A common
dandelion was the best thing I ever
got to do. I got to show the last
picture and then I am going to do
a the end picture.
