5. In ancient times people grouped the stars into shapes which they named
the 12 Signs of the Zodiac. Many of these Signs resemble animals.
This is the Zodiac Sign of Cancer
6. These are the Planets which we can view from Earth - so far !
7. Your Birth Chart is a symbolic map of where the Planets were located
within the 12 signs of the zodiac at the exact moment of your birth. Hence
if the Sun was in the sign of Leo at the time of your birth, you would be
described as having ‘Sun in Leo’ . Similarly for the other planets.
8. Core themes for 2013: Expansion, Release,
Transformation, Integration and Action
The planetary energies of 2013 can be divided
into three main phases:
January to May invited us to expand forwards
with direct action.
May to August brings an increase in planetary
intensity. This is an ideal time to release and
transform on all levels.
September to December is an opportune time
to re-structure.

on-going square between Uranus in Aries and Pluto in
Capricorn.
The core invitation of this powerful configuration is to transform and
release inauthentic structures and embrace a new way of being that is
more fully aligned with our soul self. Saturn also remains in Scorpio
until 2015, thereby reinforcing these key themes.
10. The Dates and Degrees of the exact
Uranus/Pluto square 2012 – 2015 – these
are particularly good times to effect change to any outdated
structures in our lives at a personal and collective level

Trines in Water which introduce a powerful
emotional, imaginative and spiritual
dimension to the current changes on a
collective and individual basis
13. A Grand Trine formation occurs when 3 or more
planets are 120’ from each other in the sky ,
thereby forming an equilateral triangle. This
configuration allows energy to flow freely and
easily between the planets involved. In sacred
geometry the number three has many
spiritual/esoteric associations.

calm during this time. Mars willactivate these larger configurationsdemanding
action and change. Be carefulto act rather than react.Notice where you are feeling
frustrated,keep grounded and centered in your body and in your higher self.
Avoid conflict.
Aug 6th – Jupiter opposite Pluto – Jupiterwillexpand these configurations.This is
a good time to evaluate and release the structures in your life whichhave no
furthermeaning. Focus on joy rather than conflict.Expand and let go.
Aug 20th – Jupiter square Uranus - as above
Aug 23rd – Venus square Pluto – this is a good time to evaluate what we need to
change in our lives to remain aligned with our core values.
September9th /10th – Mars quincunx Pluto – this willentail a revisiting of some of
the changes that willhave taken place internally and externally at the end of July
