GDP
• GDP measures the monetary value of final
goods and services—that is, those that are
bought by the final user—produced in a
country in a given period of time (say a
quarter or a year). It counts all of the output
generated within the borders of a country.
Agriculture: Rs. 20 lakh Crore with focus on animal husbandry, dairy and fisheries.
Manufacturing: Reduction in custom duties for inputs for: mobile phones, television
panels, and Lithium batteries to boost local manufacturing .
Capital Expenditure
• The Capital Expenditure (Capex) of Rs.7.5
lakh crore is allocated in FY 23 and more
than 60 percent of that had been spent till
December end was another growth driver
of the Indian economy in the current year.
