2. Pumpkin Spice Latte
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
½ tsp vanilla extract
¼ cup brewed espresso
1 tbs white sugar
1 tbs pumpkin puree
Directions:
1. Whisk 1/2 cup milk, sugar, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract in a small saucepan over low heat. Simmer for
5 minutes. Whisk in remaining 1/2 cup milk.
2. Pour milk mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove pulp. Return milk mixture to saucepan and simmer, whisking, 2
minutes. Add espresso and whisk until foamy, 1 minute.
3. Ginger Bread Latte
Ingredients:
2 fluid ounces espresso coffee
1 pinch ground nutmeg
1 pinch ground cinnamon
½ tsp vanilla powder
2 tbs gingerbread flavored syrup
½ cup milk, steamed
1/8 cup whipped cream
Directions:
In a coffee mug, combine espresso coffee with flavored syrup. Pour in steamed milk. Top with whipped cream, and sprinkle with
nutmeg, cinnamon, and vanilla powder.
4. White Chocolate Latte
Ingredients:
1 ½ cups milk
1 tbs white sugar
½ cup brewed espresso
¼ white chocolate chips, chopped
1 tbs heavy cream
1/8 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Combine the milk and cream in a saucepan, and whisk over high heat until hot and frothy. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla
and sugar. Whisk together hot espresso and white chocolate chips in a mug until smooth. If you are making two, pour half into
another mug. Top with the frothy hot milk and stir to blend in the flavoring.
5. Chai Tea Latte
Ingredients:
1 chai tea bag
7 fluid ounces boiling water
1 fluid ounce goats milk
1 tbs white sugar
1 pinch ground cardamom
Directions:
Place the tea bag in a large mug and pour in the boiling water. Steep for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the goats milk and sugar. Garnish
with a pinch of cardamom.
6. Vanilla Ginger Latte
Ingredients:
1 ¼ cups 2% milk
2 tbs vanilla flavored syrup
1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger brewed espresso
Directions:
Pour milk into a steaming pitcher and heat to 145 degrees F to 165 degrees F (65 to 70 degrees C) using the steaming wand.
Measure the vanilla syrup into a large coffee mug. Brew espresso, then add to mug. Pour the steamed milk into the mug, using a
spoon to hold back the foam. Spoon foam over the top.
