1. Project's Details...
Short description
The theme of the project is ‘Writing and Drawing Tales’. The scope of the project will include
children aged from 7 to 11. The chosen language is English. The main idea is that pupils form
a team; write a tale together then draw the tale by creating a series of 5-10 drawings. Children
will exchange drawings with partner schools and they will write stories about each other
schools’ drawings. The main objective of the project is to provide an opportunity for primary
teachers and their pupils to establish a multilateral partnership and to develop a joint creative
project. Sustainability of skills and dispositions students develop via the project will be a
priority for continuation and sustainability. We will improve the communication among
people coming from different cultures with the help of the project. We are going to give
information about our values dealing with the stories, paintings, drawings customs and
celebrate the diversities.

Work process
Planning: Due to the creative nature of the project there is freedom and scope for pupils to
plan work and to follow their own lines of enquiry. Pupils will follow a process which enables
them – under the topic of writing tales to gather, generate and organise ideas, implement ideas,
evaluate, and communicate ideas, an important aspect will be to continuously learn from
investigations and to share learning with others via multimedia and certain directed tasks.
Implementation: Teachers form a group of 10 pupils. These pupils will make a team and write
a story together independently. Then they will draw the tale which they have written and
describe the tale with 5-10 pictures (only drawings not paintings). All groups will keep the
tales which they have written, but send the drawings’ scanned copies to the ICT coordinator
of the project. The Coordinator will work on the drawings, then send the pictures to the other
countries by email. Please check the attachment ICT.swf Then, each group will print the
received drawings, paint them and write their own stories about those pictures.
2. Evaluation: Different stories will be written about the same pictures, same pictures will be
painting different colours and all countries will add their own cultural motives to them. At the
end, we will produce an e-book which will be published.
Planned activities
Video conferance, twinspace forum, Creative Nature" penpal clubs, exchanging drawings,
Student’s productions
Twinspace: All activities, blogs, photos and documents will be published and public in
twinspace. Creation of a booklet of stories and drawings: All stories written by pupils and
drawings and paintings designed by pupils will be collected in a booklet.
Flash Presentations: Groups will present work, innovation, creativity and healthy competition
are encouraged. Local and Global community are invited to view work. Children will be able
to measure by making comparisons, how accurate the new tales are to the original tales, and
to celebrate the wealth of diversity the project brings.
E-Book: All stories and drawings will publish as an e-book, if it is possible print by publish
agency.
